We have stayed in this hotel a few times. The location of this hotel is great for what ever we wanted to do in the city. The people that work here are really attentive to your needs and truly care. On our last stay, my daughter fell sick as soon as we got to Quito and the front desk went beyond their duty in providing us with a doctor that come to the hotel and take care of my kid, just that along was nice but you can see the concern in their faces about the well being of my kid. Going to the pharmacy to get medicine in a prompt manner. WOW. The rooms and the property were so clean and everyone was so polite and willing to go the extra mile for you. Hotel Akros has been and will be our place to go when we visit Quito. We are planing on going back next year again but with my brother in law and his family. 5 out 5 in my book.

“Great Food”

I stayed here for 4 nights. Room was not well lit and there was a lot of noise outside at night. However, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is amazing. The dinner menu is also quite good. Very convenient to walk to most places downtown. Busy road out front that is dangerous … more

I stayed here for 4 nights. Room was not well lit and there was a lot of noise outside at night. However, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is amazing. The dinner menu is also quite good. Very convenient to walk to most places downtown. Busy road out front that is dangerous to cross on foot. Room had a living room and bedroom. Bathroom was OK. Could use an update.

“Well located, great staff, parking”

Rooms are clean, not too big, the bathroom is ok. The most important thing is its good location, next to 24 hour pharmacy, ATM. It has valet parking which makes things very easy. Rooms are clean, not too big, the bathroom is ok. The most important thing is its good location, next to 24 hour pharmacy, ATM. It has valet parking which makes things very easy. Movie theaters, soccer stadium and malls are close to this hotel. The area is safe. The staff is very friendly. Food in the restaurant is very good. Gym is small but enough for a quick work out.

“No more than 2 nights”

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were very badly lit and the bathrooms quite grotty. It was liveable in for 2 nights maximum, but I would not recommend the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our room rates but it was a really poor breakfast with only basic items available to eat (fruit, bread etc)… more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were very badly lit and the bathrooms quite grotty. It was liveable in for 2 nights maximum, but I would not recommend the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our room rates but it was a really poor breakfast with only basic items available to eat (fruit, bread etc) and certainly not worth the money. Hotel staff weren't the friendliest. There were no safes in the hotel rooms and so you'd need to leave your valuables in a safety deposit box with staff. We had dinner here 1 night in the hotel restaurant which was quite average albeit very expensive.
