They've done a nice job at pepping up what used to be a very dowdy hotel. They haven't spent a fortune – you can see that – but have still managed to capture the currently ubiquitous 'Warm Nordic' style. Positive points: 1. Reasonably priced – we got a good autumn deal for our 3-night stay. 2. Very welcoming staff. 3. Great breakfast buffet. 4. Excellent location – on the waterfront, but really not far at all from the city centre. 5. Good house cocktails. 6. Lovely bathroom products from Meriyaki. 7. A spacious room. Negative points: 1. Horrid little cardboard cups in the room. What about a couple of glasses? 2. DKK 120 for a small glass of wine in the bar!!!! For goodness' sake. We would stay here again.

“Great location and staff”

I've stayed here a couple of times. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Room is a good size and breakfast is real good with a fine selection. The locals great close to the city center and right by the water. Lots of restated shopping near by. There seems to be lots of activities goin… more

I've stayed here a couple of times. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Room is a good size and breakfast is real good with a fine selection. The locals great close to the city center and right by the water. Lots of restated shopping near by. There seems to be lots of activities going on in the bar with anything from bingo to tastings wich is nice to be able to join when traveling alone.

Comfortable but basic. When we first arrived, we were told we had booked two single rooms, although my confirmation said a double bed. Comfortable but basic. When we first arrived, we were told we had booked two single rooms, although my confirmation said a double bed. It took awhile to eventually correct this, and even then we were not offered the room we booked. The beds were very comfy, but our room opened right onto the carpark and was next to a pavement where people could peer into our room, which meant our curtains were closed all the time. There are no kettles in the room or basic offerings of tea, and when I asked if it was possible to make myself a cup of tea they wanted to charge me equivalent to £4.50. The bathrooms are also wet rooms, and the showers did you drain well at all, so ended up standing in puddles when using the sink or toilet! Overall, a good location and comfortable beds, but really lacked the small touches you would expect at a hotel like this.
