Thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel, which was made even more pleasant by the lovely and helpful staff.

I was here with my family and we had an early flight to catch. However when we needed breakfast early in the morning we couldn’t get it. The staff told us that we had to tell them in advance….witch we did two times the day before. Once in the reception and one at night before bed…. They couldn’t fix it and we had to leave without the breakfast that we had paid extra for… But the rooms were very nice and i would recommend it to anyone that is not in a hurry

Before I write the review I would say, I would easily stay at this hotel again if in Copenhagen, but I do think it would not be ultimately my first choice. Hotel is situated relatively close to various transport hubs. We took the m2 to Kyngens Nyrot and then change to M4 to Havneholmen station at Fisketorvet shopping centre. It is a straight walk just down past ikea or through the shopping centre to the hotel. Check in was relatively easy but not offered any upgrade options and were told cleaning would be on a requested basis. Really good sized room with a Door/window( that I found not too safe especially with the latch being broken). The mattress was quite solid and a good size king, pillows were very small and we didn’t see any extra, but we never asked either. Only one drawer available but plenty of hanging space and a shelf to put clothes. Ironing board and iron already in room. Fully stocked mini bar at decent prices but we did not use this. Tv has only a couple of English based new channels but a lot of the danish, Swedish and Norwegian channels are uk programmes with danish subtitles. You can log into Netflix or Disney plus and you can also cast your own device to the tv so no real need to bring fire stick etc. Bathroom a decent size with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and moisturiser all provided. Towels were quite high in the fluffiness scale. Only issue was I felt the bath tub was rather high to get in and out of and could be quite slippy in the bath. Good strong shower and always warm. Air conditioning was working and responsive. Changing weather while we were there meant we used both the cooling and heating function. I did feel it dried my eyes a lot but that is the nature of air conditioning. The room was clean and although we didn’t t ask for cleaning we did get fresh towels and tea and coffee from the team halfway through our trip. The lifts are quite often, if you are floors 1-8 all lifts go to your floor, 9-12 only two lifts service those floors. We did not really interact that much with the staff, we had no need to, apart from check out when they were very helpful. The hotel is very much a convention centre and hotel rather than a hotel with a convention centre. It did not bother us that much but the convention centre was very busy and had police presence all week which meant we felt very safe to be fair. In terms of food we tried the food court at the local shopping centre, about 15-20 different options. In terms of travel if you walk out the back of the hotel and walk five mins and cross the bridge you are at the Dybbølsbro station. Handy for going to the zoo or Carlsberg factory or if you want to go to central station. Although we found it quicker to walk to central station. A really handy hotel , not right on transport links but pretty close. We would co side this hotel again but certainly seen another few hotels that we liked the look of for our next trip. I think for families though a great hotel and location. A few small issues like the latch on the door in our room, the door opened fully leaving just a panel to stop you falling, I found t his a bit unnerving but I am afraid of heights. Is the hotel worth the money….. yes is the hotel clean and modern ….. yes A good choice for Copenhagen.
