“Convenient location”

Room overlooking harbour was a great view and good for people watching. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Comfortable beds. Parking very close and cheaper via hotel.

The room I got wasn't big but felt spacious thanks to the layout. I was able to have my luggage opened on the floor while still being able to walk around. Another plus point was the window, which could be opened to the Juliette balcony - it added to the sense of spaciousness of the room. The night curtains did a very good job at keeping the sunlight out - something to consider in the Danish summer. The bathroom was also spacious though I didn't understand why the shampoo and soap bottles were mounted on the opposite wall from the shower head. Another thing that bothered me was the pedal bin - each time I tried to step on the pedal to open the lid, the bin would inadvertently move around. There's an abundance of power sockets around the room, though they were all type C sockets only. None of the sockets had USB ports. It would have made a huge difference if there was at least 1 universal socket and some USB ports in the room - hotels really think to consider such things from their guests' perspective. There is decent wardrobe space, an iron and ironing board on the room, 2 cups, but I don't recall seeing any electric kettles. There was also no fridge, nor complimentary drinks / tea / coffee. The gym was decent. It had a range of weights, and machines targeting different body parts (chest, back, cable machines, shoulders, treadmill, rowing machine). However, they weren't very well maintained and some machines clearly needed to be oiled. One thing, which I disliked about the hotel, was that housekeeping isn't going to be carried out unless the guests arranged for it by scanning a QR code. While I support such green efforts, I don't agree that guests should have to arrange for housekeeping - it just becomes one more thing one needs to do while on holiday. Lastly, should guests need to leave their luggages at the hotel before or after checking in / out, they will need to use the lockers in the basement. The lockers must be paid for by credit card. Having to pay to leave one's luggage at a hotel is a first for me and I personally think it's nonsensical.
