“Beautiful hotel”

This hotel is beautiful. Really cool vibe in the cafe, really friendly staff, gorgeous rooms and decor! Complimentary wine between 5pm-6pm - lovely! Really recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Copenhagen. No complaints at all. Would love to go back!

This is a boutique hotel in an excellent location , about a 5-10minute walk to the Central Station and a 20 minute walk to the main shopping area, Stroget. We were able to walk it with a 5 year old but we did take transit as well on other days. The rooms were clean and a good size. We had the triple room with a twin sofa bed and a double bed. Both beds were comfortable and the double was more like a North American Queen size so plenty of space for us. There was no mini fridge and storage which was disappointing. The ping pong room on the 5th floor was fun and the happy hour from 5-6 pm was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included and it was definitely worth it, although note that it’s across the street at the Delphine restaurant. Food was delicious! We left the windows open a bit at night for the breeze as there is no air conditioning but it was 20C here so weather was perfect- not sure how it would be if it was hotter though. If you are sensitive to noise, it does get a little noisy from passing by firetrucks/ambulances and late night people chatting loudly on the street if you are facing the Main Street. Otherwise, just the normal traffic sounds of a city. We were on the 4th floor and did not hear any noise from the music downstairs. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Mixed feelings about our stay here. There's no doubt the reception staff are helpful. However the rooms are very small and our room at the front was really noisy at night. We didn't sleep properly for the 3 nights we were there, although the bed was very comfortable. We had to ask for shower gel as there was none. We also requested a kettle and cups for the room, but then the dirty ones were left there the next day. Presumably they want you to spend more in the cafe downstairs by not encouraging you to make your own coffee. At the equivalent of £5 a cup we wanted to make our own tea! The breakfast offered in the cafe has miserable choice and this in a city renowned for it's pastries and buns! The area around the hotel has almost no bakeries where you can get an alternative breakfast. Positively the atmosphere in the cafe is welcoming and we liked the free wine at 5pm. The lift jammed on the 4th floor several times which was unnerving. We wished we had stayed in another quieter area where there are bakeries and local shops. Copenhagen is very expensive and I think we could have got a better deal somewhere else.
