“Great value, well located hotel for a fun weekend with children.”
I stayed at The Legoland Hotel with my five year old. We arrived really early on fb first day (8:30am), so our room wasn’t ready. I stayed at The Legoland Hotel with my five year old. We arrived really early on fb first day (8:30am), so our room wasn’t ready. But we was able to leave our luggage in the secure guests luggage room. Whilst I sorted this my son was able to play in the Nintendo bus on the Nintendo switches they have there and also the Lego walls that are around the reception area. He didn’t want to leave, particularly as we was also greeted by the legoland dinosaur in his Santa’s hat. It was the warmest welcome we have experienced at a hotel. The receptionist also went to find my son and gave him a free bag of Santa Lego, he was so happy. We left the hotel and went to legoland for the day which is a few minutes walk away only. So perfectly located. When we came back to the hotel that evening we was able to access our room which was a Pirate room located close to the restaurants and half a level up from the main reception area. Our room was clean and my little boy loved the theme. There was a box of Lego in the room for him to play with and sweets and a bag of Lego had been left for my son to keep which was a lovely gesture and made him very happy. The bunk beds we didn’t use as I did have concerns that the side rail could post entrapment risks, but we was fine sharing the main bed for a few nights. We ate in both restaurants for breakfast. There’s a main restaurant and a Pirate restaurant too. There was a good selection of foods and drinks as part of the buffet. We found the staff at the hotel really friendly and helpful. Giving advice regarding the buses to other places we wanted to visit including Vieje train station as we went via train to Frensborg in Germany for the day to see the Christmas market there. This was via bus 43 to Vieje then get the train to Fredericia and from there onto Frensborg. We also got the bus to and from the airport. The number 43 stops directly by the hotel just 2/3 minutes walk from the main reception. The bus cost less than £2 where as the taxi was 15euros. The bus took 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. Do definitely worth the saving. Lego house is a 10 minute walk away along with Billunds restaurants such as the sushi place. The area was very quiet but we felt safe. Overall this was a really good place to stay and we will return. My son cried when we had to leave. Thank you to Legoland Hotel for such a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

Well sized rooms with wifi and friendly and helpful staff. Offer a safe and secure luggage storage service. If you get a room nearer the restaurant or play area may get some noise to your room. Well sized rooms with wifi and friendly and helpful staff. Offer a safe and secure luggage storage service. If you get a room nearer the restaurant or play area may get some noise to your room. Well equipped gym on site for guests. Breakfast selection at the hotel restaurant is diverse and offers plenty of variety and good quality. Well located with direct access to LEGOLand from within the hotel and a short walk into town if you’re seeing anything else or popping down for a meal. As well as a bus stop right outside which connects to the airport.

We booked this trip primarily for our sons 16th birthday. We stayed 3 nights, 4 days. He has always wanted to go to the Lego house. The hotel was a lot cheaper than Windsor, which we had previously stayed at and I was not impressed by for the money we paid, so I was not expecting much but as hotels in Billund are around the same price we where not going to be much more out of pocket to stay in the hotel. We are so glad we did. The room was huge, staff where lovely. First night we ate at the restaurant in the hotel and although pricey the choices where good, however on the last night we discovered the Lego castle hotel had a similar buffet however alcohol was included this was a much better deal than the Hotel legoland restaurant. It was also a lot more chilled environment and had a small softplay which our son enjoyed. Would definitely return just for the value for money and location, however would stay for 3 days, 2 nights next time as once you have spent the day at the theme park and 1 day at legohouse, Billund is relatively small we felt the last day was very long to wait till flight home

We stayed here for 3 nights with our children aged 2&7, when visiting Legoland. Overall it was a great choice which added the cherry on top of our visit to Legoland and Lego House. This is a hotel full of Lego. You are immersed in the Lego experience immediately after entering, when you see the huge Lego Minifig exposition by the reception. Everywhere you walk there are building places. Additionally the hotel has Nintendo zones where the kids can enjoy some games on switch. Rooms are compact, but perfect for a short stay. The bunk bed for kids can be lifted for the day giving more space. And of course there is also Lego in the room. The restaurant offers very good food, high quality, good composition, and there is skids play zone in the middle so you can finish your meal in peace. It’s worth considering though, that you’l probably be eating at the park and the Lego House too. We chose the breakfast only option to have flexibility. Hotel guests have a private entrance to the park and are allowed to come back to the hotel during the day. Most rooms don’t have a view, except the park view rooms, which give you a view on the park. The Lego house is within 15 minutes walk.
