Special thanks is for male receptionist (black hair and glasses) he was very polite.

“Beautiful true European hotel experience”
This is beautiful, clean very typically tiny European hotel. If you are looking for a true European experience-this is your hotel. Not far from the old square either. A short bus ride and the concierge is very helpful getting you on the right bus

The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Location is great and has good connections via public transport. Inside the bathroom was a heater that you can use to dry your towels and clothes. Building itself is very pretty and the area is quiet. Upon checking-in we received a couple of vouchers for a free drink at the bar which was super nice. Although I am a foreigner and this was in my favour, it was a bit strange that the staff do not speak Czech. We saw multiple visitors coming to check-in and initiating the conversation in Czech but the Spanish-speaking staff (who were just to mention, very kind and friendly) spoke maybe three words of Czech and immediately encouraged any visitors to switch to English. Another thing which was a bit disappointing was the fact that after 22:00 the doors (both outside to enter hotel and interior to reach the room) were locked, apparently for "security reasons" or so we heard. I mean, the key cards that we had to just touch and unlock the doors did not work - for anyone. I thought that was the main point of them, that door is locked, unless you're a guest. But even guests had to knock loudly on the door until someone from reception came over and opened. People kept walking in and out for drinks and sightseeing and staff had to keep running around to open/close the doors which was super weird. Our key cards were basically just to open our own room and not the hotel... Imagine you got a key which did not work for security reasons - does not make sense to me.

“Nice Stay”
So this hotel is as far from a new modern hotel as you can get. It was though very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. It is located a few minutes walk from a tram stop into town, about 10 min journey. It was well priced and there were 3 of us in a room, two adults and 12 year old. The bathroom was very nice with an excellent shower. Beds were very comfortable. My only comment would be around the breakfast, which is limited in choice. The staff though were all really nice and helpful. Another plus is there are two bars/restaurants at the bottom of the road with very cheap beer and amazing food at a great price. Being out of town has it advantages. Prague is a lovely city with loads to do and see.
