This was a great place for our family to stay while we explored Prague! The metro station was just around the corner with easy links to downtown. There was a paid public garage just a minute walk away and plenty of shops & restaurants all close by. There was a some street noise, but that is to be expected when you are staying within a city. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was incredibly friendly & helpful. We observed him dealing with a frustrating situation outside of his control very patiently.

“quick and nice visit”
found it by chance and in emergency.Got a nice studio for not that much money in a very short time. I also sent there a couple of my friends and they found it nice and useful. And they give me a room with a Bidet, and as an italian by origin it is a very welcomed surplus

“Staff need to learn manners.”

The room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding. Could do with more coat hangers in the wardrobes though. The morning after we arrived we went for breakfast. We sat for 45 minutes before anyone took our order, didn't even have a drink. When I asked if we could be served, all I got was "I'm coming" however he had served 3 other tables that came in after us. After over an hour we finally received our breakfast, which was edible, but not very nice. However the service was so bad that we didn't eat there again for the rest of our trip and we had to pay elsewhere for breakfast. The lady on reception was very surly and quite rude, she made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. We asked about tickets to Prague castle, as it said in the brochure in our room that they offered discounts. She was very rude when telling us they "don't do tickets". The location was fantastic, very close to the metro; but the staff and breakfast were enough to put us off coming again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

I booked Casa Italia as it was cheap and the pics looked quaint and fun. I was mostly excited about have a bed up high in the room, a mezzanine! On arrival we were shown our room, not quite like the pictures :( it seemed more like a room built on the adjacent houses veranda! Plus points, it was TOASTIE. Really warm. Negative, it had 2 lamps but neither could be plugged in as there was no plug sockets where you’d put your lamp...in fact in the room there was 1, by the kitchenette. Two in the bathroom but not where you need your lamp! The hotel advertised room service and free breakfast, there is no room service and the food provided in the room isn’t free. We left ours though so no issues. On our 3rd day, the shower broke! It was xmas eve when Czech people celebrate xmas, so i was impressed with how this was dealt with by management. We text and sorted out a new room for that night! The room was much bigger and had a separate bedroom with a working lamp and plug sockets! But this one had a tiny bath, like tiny, enough to sit with your knees up and the tap was broken so you couldn’t take it off shower mode, so to have a bath we had to fill it up with the shower head! But still at least we were clean! Which both rooms were, clean and warm! With towels and a good set of pots pans plates and cutlery They do advertise a hairdryer, but this isnt on the room you have to ask reception, but reception was closed most days i was there as it was xmas...so i rocked the curly hair look. Overall for the price approx £35, cant complain. Warm, clean and problems sorted quickly with no fuss. I think its probs best only for a few days, the first room was tiny and annoying with no plug sockets but the second room would have been fine with a normal sized bath! Oh its super close to the metro and take like 7 mins to get into town

Our apartment was ok though smaller than in the pics. Few ants roamed around on the floor. The beds in the loft were nice. The two ladies at the reception were very helpful. Walls were paper thin; u could hear literally everything happening next door! So bring ur earplugs with u if u wish to sleep good. The beds were soft and sheets clean. The biggest plus was the subway and the local food store right around the corner. Nothing to complain about really, but cannot say we would pick this one again.
