Description
Hotel Praga 1 is a four star boutique hotel, which is conveniently located in the Prague city center. The nearest tram station is called Karlovo náměstí and it is in walking distance. Enjoy your stay with family in calm hotel with only 31 rooms.
The Hotel Praga 1 is situated in the center of Prague closed to Charles Square in Zitna street. There is the underground and the tram station in walking distance (approx. 100m). Famous Wenceslas square is only 5 minutes by walk. Charles Square was formerly a cattle market. Founded by Charles IV, it was supposed to be the centre of Prague’s New Town, but this top position was removed to the more famous Wenceslas Square. The Charles Square has great buildings, like the New Town Hall or the Emause Monastery, founded in 1347 by Charles IV, who wanted to revive the Old Slavic church tradition of Saints Cyril and Method. Today, this park is surrounded by busy streets, but its inner peace is still there, with a beautiful fountain, tall trees and statues of famous Czech writers, artists and politicians.
Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.

Hotel Praga 1 is very convenient for seeing the tourist sites of Prague. It is very close to the metro and tram stops. The hotel itself is in a lovely old building and the rooms are large and spacious. The bed in our room was very large and comfortable. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The breakfast choice was very good, including cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, cakes, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, and sausages. Drink choices were a selection of teas, coffee and 3 fruit juices. Overall, an extremely good value hotel, I thoroughly recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Well decorated and comfortable. Lots of little extras like toiletries and slippers. The location was great for visiting many attractions. Breakfast had a wide choice and was all fresh and tasty. Reception staff can be a little elusive but very helpful when they are there. The Lobby Bar is a bit disappointing with the selection of drinks. Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.

“Good stay for a few days”
The hotel is perfectly adequate for a few days stay. One downside was that the beds were very hard! Pillows were good. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of it. The hotel is perfectly adequate for a few days stay. One downside was that the beds were very hard! Pillows were good. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of it. Very little choice for a gluten free diet though. Staff we met were all very pleasant but Igor was exceptional - so friendly and helpful, location of the hotel was good - pretty close to bars and restaurants. We got a ticket at the hotel for the hop on, hop off bus which included a river cruise - great way to see the city.

“Lovely hotel just wasnt impressed with the breakfast”
The hotel and room was spot on and reception staff were great and really friendly but one of the kitchen staff was very rude and food was continental so we just had toast on day 1 then ate breakfast out the rest of our stay so that is why I gave it 3 stars
