This hotel is understated elegance, we arrive and had booked massages, there was a mix up and we received champagne in our room as an apology, this was not needed but appreciated. This hotel is understated elegance, we arrive and had booked massages, there was a mix up and we received champagne in our room as an apology, this was not needed but appreciated. It was my friends 60th more champagne in the room, and my 69th , we received a cake in the room, really thoughtful. The breakfasts are amazing lots of choice, the staff are so helpful and respectful. The decor is art decor, very clean, rooms are really warm. Massages were not as detailed in the description, but the hotel is excellent. Will visit again

“Good Choice in Prague”
Lovely hotel very well located near the Powder Gate and excellent access to Náměstí Republiky train and tram stop (within 100m). Lovely hotel very well located near the Powder Gate and excellent access to Náměstí Republiky train and tram stop (within 100m). Very easy to get too if getting tram from Train Station Junior Suite was very spacious and was well appointed. The only thing I didn’t like was it was a small shower over a bath (which I avoid where possible) with an odd shower head that was positioned very awkwardly when showering. Reception staff very, very friendly and helpful. Less friendly at the attached Tony’s Bar. Breakfast was good with plenty of hot and cold dishes on the buffet including eggs, bacon and sausages in addition to the normal cold meats, cheeses and pastries. Barista made coffee also available Would definitely stay again

Like a previous review I am torn between awarding 4 or 5 stars to this hotel. At this level of cost and standard it is the little things that differentiate between the good and the excellent. The decor is beautiful art nouveau and is in a prime location close to most of the "must sees" which are within walking distance. The rooms are dated but refurbished as one would expect in a hotel of over 100 years old. The electrical system is tired, minimal and there are no USB sockets. The staff are professional and welcoming although I was overcharged for a meal that I did not have, and I am still awaiting for the agreed refund. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but I would have expected at this level that the coffee and fruit juices to be served at the table. In conclusion I would recommend this hotel but with minor reservations.
