“Excellent and comfortable!”
Excellent hotel. Lovely comfortable rooms with all you could need. Great location with plenty of bars close by. Great breakfast. Staff very nice and accommodating. Great for leaving luggage in a locked room for later departures. Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here and would definitely recommend!

“See the sights, learn all the history, enjoy all the quirky things.”
A great base, lovely clean hotel. Helpful staff. It was my birthday while I was there, they left a card and small bottle if fizz. Really nice gesture. A bit further put than I thought, but I like walking so not a problem for me but if you struggle it could be an issue.

The hotel is basic, even though we paid for a superior room, the room was far from superior. On our arrival, the room was far too warm, the heating was on and we couldn't turn it down, and turn the air con on, we told reception who sent a fan the next day and we were told someone would fix it. We don't think they did because the air con didn't work throughout our stay, however having the windows open and the fan on, this was acceptable. No vanity area for a lady to get ready in the room, the hairdryer provided wasn't very powerful and this was located in the bathroom attached to the wall. There was a nice big bath and good shower, the bed was comfortable and free WiFi, but as stated the room was very basic and the hotel seems quite dated decor wise. Quite austere. We felt like we had to beg for tea bags and milk and different people on reception weren't very welcoming or friendly. Whenever we tried to ask anything we felt like we were disturbing them. Many things that are advertised on the website are not factual. Our room was stated- as having a coffee machine, but there was just a kettle. it states that you can purchase tram tickets through reception, you can't. Me and the hubby ended up doing all our own research, but it would have been nice to have a more helpful approach from staff. The continental breakfast was basic, and you have to go up to another floor. There was bread, butter, jams etc with different fruits, (fruit salad) tea and coffee, fruit juice, but no bacon, just mini hot dog sausages in hot water, cold meats. Other than that, you can't eat at the hotel, meals wise, it just has bars which during our stay, never seemed to be open. Maybe they were, but we didn't see it. Overall, it is ok as a basic place to stay, it's in a nice location surrounded by bars and shops. We would certainly visit Prague again as it's beautiful but we would stay somewhere else.
