“Accommodating reception team. Good breakfast and room. Bad water pressure!”

Everything was good apart from the shower. The pressure in the shower is awful! Almost impossible to shower. Maybe the reason for poor pressure is because I was on a top floor. “Unfortunate”

Cons We stayed here due to our flight being cancelled for 4 days. Reception staff were rude and not helpful. Housekeeping is done at a minimum, some days our rooms weren’t cleaned. Cons We stayed here due to our flight being cancelled for 4 days. Reception staff were rude and not helpful. Housekeeping is done at a minimum, some days our rooms weren’t cleaned. The cutlery at breakfast was never clean. The dinner buffet is not worth the money, there are about 5 hot dishes & soup and the rest is salad. We had a very slow service and miscommunication throughout our stay due to our circumstance The hotel is 15 minutes in a taxi away from the city centre. Taxis are cheap but to walk it would take triple the time, not good for someone disabled. Water is not provided in the room Booking.com shows a bowling alley, this is separate to the hotel not in the hotel Pros Happy hour is every day at 15:00-17:00 including Prosecco, beer & spirits. Breakfast is excellent, the selection changes throughout the week and there is something for everyone. We had lunch in the restaurant which was fabulous! Maybe the best food I have had in a hotel. Our waiter (unsure of his name) was very helpful and attentive, he should be behind the reception desk!! Large lobby area if you want to socialise, read a book or watch the football. There is a souvenir shop in the hotel

Hotel Duo indeed is a very popular one and is a very large hotel. I guess it must be having 300-400 rooms inventory. Located aprox. 15 minutes from the main city center or Main train station i.e. Praha h.ln. Closest Metro station is Střížkov which is barely 5 minues walk from the Hotel. Places around the hotel are opened till late around 10-11 pm and the hotel inside also takes last order till 9.30 pm on weekdays. there are few things which ticked us off as a traveller. One, the hotel housekeeping is very pathetic. The night we checked in, my wife saw blood stains on the bed sheet and when we asked the housekeeping to change it, they simply refused saying that we change the bed linens only after 3 days so it was our mistake and luck that we had to sleep on blood stained bed. Secondly, hotel restauarant doesnt accept cash even theiir local currency which is very absurd. Brekfast was below average, the only saving grace is that they have a live egg counter unlike other europen hotels but that too nothing fancy. Its a good hotel for a group tour and not otherwise. I dont recommend it to any one travelling with their family. Lastly, the elevator was not functional for the complete 3 days and its very difficult to climb stairs with the baby stroller, luggage and for any wheel chair ridden old person.
