“I can fully recommend!”
The accommodation was great. The hotel is in a great location. Near Wenceslas Square. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Great choice of food and nice service. We will definitely be very happy to return to this hotel.

“A very nice hotel located in the best part of Prague”

This is my favourite hotel in Prague. I have lost count, guess I have been there some 30-40 times during the last ten years. When I go to Prague, I always chech first if there is room available at Hotel City Bell. It is maybe not luxury hotel by the ordinary meaning of the word, but if you think of luxury as spacious rooms, quiet surroundings which allows good sleep at night, perfect location (Vinohrady is the best area in Prague!), then this is a perfect place. Two or three years ago, the Hotel underwent a successful renovation (including new elevator). Nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, thorough cleaning of the room etc. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Prague with good value for money.

I only stayed there for two nights so I knew that I would be most of the time out of the hotel, but we can understand that it is a simple hotel but there is also a very caution from its employees to keep it good. The location is very good - you have the station Namesti Miru in 7 min walking distance from the hotel and it is also a safe location to walk in. I met Sabrina at the reception. I came very early in the morning, so I did not get my room ready at the time but I have sit down a little at the reception sofa and I felt her curiosity to speak with me and I like that ‘familiar’ touch with the guests. The breakfast was good. I do not use to eat too much so I thought it had the most essencial things and the service at the breakfast was also good, they were always filling in the food tables when it was missing. The room was large and the decoration was simple. The view was not beautiful mas it is not the most important for me. The things I did not like: there are no sheets on the bed and as I travelled alone, I used the extra duvet to cover me. The wifi is not easy reachable - during late afternoon I have tried to connect to the Internet many times but without sucess. In general, this hotel was a good choice, it is cheap, clean, it has a good location and the people are also nice. *

“It could be good for short-staying groups & first-comers to Prague, but not for recurrent visitors.”

What is good there? A very good location of the hotel in Vinohrady (to my mind, the best district to stay in Prague); the quality of mattress (tough and stiff as it should be for our backs); the very breakfast (in its quantity of meals if to compare with other Prague hotels, except the situation with fruits sliced into small pieces and thus awfully look and taste already in some 15 minutes :( ). · However, there are a lot of weak points also: the Wi-Fi is indeed terrible and functions very badly - it's impossible to work with your docs on-line and useless in trying to communicate by voice. Besides, inside the very rooms there are no saucers for tea cups?!, no any tea spoons?!, no even a very small fridge, no water provided and just one pocket of tea.... It means it's hard to place any of your own food anywhere... just among window frames... Some more words are necessary to say about bedclothes - they are clean enough but... old enough also since my bedsheet was even with a hole... hmmm... The devil lives in details as we know and those remarkably worsen the very impression of my staying there. And I could definitely state that if to reserve in advance it's possible to achieve the same rates as in Orion hotel, for example, but this is far better than its counterpart described here.
