Just returned from 3 nights stay, the hotel is located in a quiet residential area, not far to walk to nearest square and catch a tram. The hotel is very clean, rooms double deluxe basic, bathroom clean and small. staff are friendly and very helpful. few bars and restaurants near by. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Hotel will arrange taxi to pick you up from airport and return back to airport. on arrival taxi we were charged 700 czech krouna, taxi return to airport asked for 900 czech krouna, told him no only paid 700, he agreed cash 700 becareful.

Initially I spoke to Assel Dossayeva about ordering a taxi from the airport; tourist tax and breakages/mini bar deposit. Assel was very helpful and upgraded us to a deluxe room (love holidays had assigned us 2 single beds). I couldn't fault Assel's service - very professional. The taxi driver met us at the airport and we were transported to the hotel (32 euro one way). Upon arrival, we already knew what we had to pay (thanks to trip advisor reviews and Assel) so check in was smooth (80 euro deposit for breakages/mini bar and 2.04 euro tourist tax each per night). The room was very basic and as the last reviewer stated, it was 2 double beds pushed together and 2 single quilts. Also one pillow each. Ask for more pillows if needs be but instead we just used the scatter cushions as a booster. There is a safe and it is free to use. The mini fridge was stacked but we didn't use any of it as there's a supermarket right beside the hotel selling the same drinks at a lesser price. We seemed to overlook a back car park and bin storage which wasn't the nicest view and it was a little noisy from time to time. The shower in the room was powerful (not the rainfall one but the lower hand-held one). The hairdryer was a bit grim but I had brought my own anyway. With regard to the TV in the room, we don't tend to watch TV too much but we chose to one evening (when we had walked 37,000 steps to the Castle and back). Unfortunately, there are only 3 English speaking channels so we had a choice of 2 news channels or a children's channel. No point in going to the bar in the hotel either because there is no entertainment. In fact on 2 occasions we walked past the bar, the barmaid was reading a book (oh and on our last day when we wanted a drink before getting our taxi, the barmaid had disappeared and someone had to go looking for her!!!) A hot breakfast included hot dog type sausages (one plain and one spicy). Unfortunately the scrambled eggs and boiled eggs were cold. There was omelette but it also contained the sausages. The first morning we went for breakfast, there was mixed veg alongside the sausages. The next day baked beans. The following day green beans. Yes, there's cereal, porridge, yoghurt, fruit, a cream cheese dessert type thing, cakes, spreads, bread, hams/cheese/variety of salad. I just chose to eat toast/ham/cheese or toast and marmalade. We found that the restaurant staff were quite sullen. It was also quite off-putting to have them hover around you watching your every move (even when it wasn't busy). Reception staff appeared to be a little more upbeat. The location of the hotel is in a more quiet residential area. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to Wenceslas Square and about another 10 minutes to get to Charles Bridge. We love walking so that kept us happy. Overall, we had a lovely time in Prague (our second visit) but in all honesty I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again. I'm not a fussy traveller but there was just no atmosphere and the room was basic. For anyone with mobility issues, it is quite a trek to get to Wenceslas Square, plus it's sort of uphill on the way back also.
