The building dates back to around the turn of the century and has a most traditional appearance. The facade has two very distinct styles since the hotel consists of two buildings but both are in the traditional Prague art nouveau style..Hotel Ambassador is located in the historic and cultural centre of Prague - Wenceslas Square. Wenceslas Square is the centre of shopping and culture. Six hundred eighty-two meters long by sixty meters wide with a boulevard leading from the National Museum to Mustek, it is made up of a wonderful combination of historic buildings and retail outlets. Very close to the hotel are a number of theaters, museums, important banks, department stores, cafes, restaurants and clubs. Infact, the entire historic sites of Prague are easily accessible by foot. The tube station, Mustek, is only 50 m away; Prague airport, Ruzyne, 11 km away; the main train station, 1 km; Prague Castle, 2 km; Old Town Square, 400 m; the National Museum, 700 m; while the Congressional Centrum of Prague is 2 km away.

Just back from a truly wonderful trip to Prague! This hotel is beautiful, our room (304) was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Just back from a truly wonderful trip to Prague! This hotel is beautiful, our room (304) was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything is within walking distance (be prepared for 20k+ steps every day), there's so much to be out seeing and doing but it was a pleasure to head back to this hotel for a rest at the end of the day. Will definitely return!

“Nice”
Nice hotel with art nouveau character. Great position walking distance to most attractions and with metro outside . Breakfast fine. Didn’t get 5 stars because Wi-Fi wasn’t great. Worked some of time . Breakfast good and shower good- good staff

“Perfect location and comfortable”
Excellent location close to all the squares with Christmas markets and the famous clock. Room was large, clean and comfortable with a separate shower and a jacuzzi bath. Excellent location close to all the squares with Christmas markets and the famous clock. Room was large, clean and comfortable with a separate shower and a jacuzzi bath. No kettle in the room, no bottled water. The TV had no BBC or US channels. Breakfast was very good and a nice lobby bar. The hotel restaurant food plenty of srlection and not expensive. The lobby has a currency exchange kiosk which was a good rate and easy to buy as needed as it was open all the time. Free WiFi and best thing is the room was very quiet.
