“Fabulous Pre-Christmas stay”
We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night break to Prague staying at this gem of a hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and efficient but without doubt a special mention must go to Veronika on reception. We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night break to Prague staying at this gem of a hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and efficient but without doubt a special mention must go to Veronika on reception. This lovely lady's help was invaluable when we managed to get ourselves lost whilst exploring! She definitely went above and beyond to ensure we made it back to the hotel..Thank you again Veronika! The Green Garden is welcoming,spotless and a great base for exploring. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant a couple of nights and on both occasions were impressed with the service and quality of the meal. Would absolutely stay here again if/when we revisit beautiful Prague.

“Lovely hotel!”
I’m just repeating what others have said, but this hotel was lovely . Decor in the rooms a bit out there, but didn’t detract from the service provided by the staff, the lovely breakfast and the location. I’m just repeating what others have said, but this hotel was lovely . Decor in the rooms a bit out there, but didn’t detract from the service provided by the staff, the lovely breakfast and the location. Veronika on reception was so lovely and helpful and all of the start were really friendly. Breakfast was plentiful (can’t believe how some people abused the self service, filling up their plates beyond a reasonable amount!). There was a bit of a walk to Wenceslas Square, slightly up hill on the way back, but the neighbourhood felt safe and there were plenty of options to eat. If you don’t mind a good walk every day, we’d highly recommend this hotel!

“Great location ”
Stayed here for our anniversary. Was very clean and spacious rooms. Tea and coffee were limited . With no decaf. Tea or coffee. Breakfast was plentiful. The only thing that could do with looking at . “Ok but a fair walk to old town”
Decent hotel a 15 min walk to Wenselas Square and a further 10/12 mins walk to old town where the Astronomical clock is located. Veronika on reception was very friendly and helpful. Decent hotel a 15 min walk to Wenselas Square and a further 10/12 mins walk to old town where the Astronomical clock is located. Veronika on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean as was bathroom; personally the decor and furniture in the room were not my taste but functional and obviously the style of this hotel. Pillow was unusually large square pillow and too soft for me. There was a lovely open glass lift in the hotel to take you to the rooms: we were on 4 th floor overlooking front of building. Windows were opened at night and you could hear quite a bit of traffic even at 6 in the morning, plus every night police sirens going off down road. Air con was on but didn’t seem really effective hence opening windows. We did find a fluctuation of hot/cold water when using shower. Breakfast was big selection but very little hot food to tempt me I’m afraid… other than poached eggs. What saved the day for me was ham & cheese toastie as they had an electric griddle type toastie machine as well as a traditional toaster. Coffee was machine and filter jug and a selection of usual teas. Staff in breakfast room seemed efficient. Would I stay here again? No I’d probably try finding a hotel closer to the square or old town. It was too far away to walk back and have a rest before dinner for us hence we literally were out all day so very tiring.
