The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The room I had (a junior suite) was large and comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. Breakfast was enjoyable, and coffee was served in an individual thermos, strong, hot, and plentiful - one could also have had speciality coffees prepared. The location is very central, close to Charles University. Internet is fast and reliable. The room price seems reasonable for such a central location and nice hotel. It feels like all the staff are proud of their hotel, and it shows. Some minor points: the double windows are very well sound-insulating, but you essentially also cannot leave them open, as sometimes trucks drive through the narrow street in front of the hotel. The room had a little bottle with room perfume; since I had a sinus headache when I arrived, I found the scent aggravating and put the bottle into the space between the inner and outer window; the room just smelled neutral with the perfume stashed away, so I am not sure why it was there in the first place. Most dramatic of all: my beloved coffee thermos came without any cream. Whatever, if I am fortunate enough to visit Prague again, I would return to this hotel.

“Amazing authentic hotel”
Yet again we had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the staff are attentive and actively go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are very clean and the added touches make the hotel feel luxurious. We will be back again in the near future.

I stayed at this hotel while in Prague for New Years. I chose it based on all the positive reviews, location, mention of good breakfast. The hotel overall was great. The room was very comfortable, the location was perfect for us -- near all the Old Town sights but also a few steps away from the chaos, and the breakfasts were wonderful -- wide-ranging and good quality. The only two minor negatives is that there was sometimes a sewage type smell in the hallways and in our bathroom, which was unpleasant. I noticed it elsewhere in Prague too but that should be addressed in the hotel. The other thing is that the front door is impossible to open and takes a lot of effort and really should have a doorman.
