“without a doubt would book this hotel again - great location, food and spacious rooms”

Comfortably spacious rooms, central location (oldtown, near the river and all essential landmarks are a walking distance away), good breakfast options. Nice view through the window too. Staff was able to book us a 2 hour Prague Boats tour as well as consult on which tour to choose.

I popped along to this hotel for a short break. The location was ideal and made for a perfect base to walk to anywhere in Prague. The room was pleasant enough with water and some sweets on arrival. The bathroom was ok, with toiletries provided but had to ask for towels. Aircon was effective, no noise from outside or other guests. Those working the reception were a little indifferent which was irritating For the cost of the room I would have expected breakfast, but there were better and less expensive options on the same street. In all it was ok, but I would plump for less expensive accommodation in the future.

I stayed at Eurostars Thalia for one night and had a generally pleasant experience with a few notable drawbacks. **Arrival & Amenities** The check-in process was welcoming, with complimentary lemonade and cookies at the reception—a nice touch that made a positive first impression. The room was clean and offered a variety of amenities, including a shower cap, comb, cotton pads, ear swabs, and hotel slippers. The bathroom was well-stocked with liquid soap, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. However, I was disappointed that bathrobes were not provided. The room also featured a minibar, air conditioning, a television, and a selection of teas and instant coffee. Free WiFi was another positive aspect. **Room Comfort & Noise** Unfortunately, the comfort of the room was compromised by a few issues. The pull-out sofa was uncomfortable, as it sagged noticeably, making it unsuitable for a restful sleep. Additionally, the curtains in the room could not be drawn at all, which meant the room remained brightly lit throughout the night due to neon signs and streetlights outside. This, coupled with the noise from the street, made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. **Parking & Service** Parking at the hotel was unavailable during my stay as all spots were occupied. The hotel suggests using a nearby theater parking lot, which is convenient but not ideal. **Customer Service** Before my arrival, I had requested a baby cot as part of my reservation. Upon checking in, I asked the receptionist if the cot had been set up in the room. The response was uncertain; he mentioned that it "should" be there if requested, but he was not sure because, according to him, the request might not have been recorded in the reservation. Unfortunately, the cot was not in the room. Although we managed without it, I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and the receptionist's expectation that I should check the room myself, rather than ensuring everything was prepared beforehand. **Breakfast** The breakfast, priced at 13 euros per person, was quite good, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, which was a definite plus. **Conclusion** Overall, Eurostars Thalia offers a welcoming atmosphere and a well-equipped room, but there were some issues with comfort, lighting, noise, and service that detracted from the experience. Better attention to detail and customer service would greatly improve the quality of the stay.
