“Fantastic stay. No complaints at all”

What a fantastic find! Absolutely no complaints at all. Our room was spacious, clean, large bathroom with walk in shower. The beds were really comfortable. What a fantastic find! Absolutely no complaints at all. Our room was spacious, clean, large bathroom with walk in shower. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfasts were very good too with lots of choice, breads, cereals, yogurts, meats, cheeses, cakes. Tea and coffee machine in reception area, which was all free too and which we made good use of. Fabulous location as very close to Charles Bridge. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, from our own experience.

“Good hotel at a great location”

Traveled with a friend. We were met by a very sweet receptionist who gave us great advise on restaurants in Prague. Room was spacious and clean. Location is very central. We had the breakfast twice, first time quite late so it was a little tierd, much better the second round when we came earlier in the morning. There was room for improvement on the coffee though. All in all we were happy with our stay on Cloister inn hotel!

Fantastic location in old town. Walking distance to everywhere. Basic hotel, great for a base if you aren’t wanting luxury. Rooms large and spacious with basic and dated furniture. No tea & coffee making and no water provided. No toiletries provided either. Beds extremely firm which was fine for us but may not suit everyone. Breakfast adequate but not a lot of choice. Very few hot options. Room key very clunky so you have to hand it in every time you leave the hotel. Great base for few nights.

“Nice hotel in great location but cleaning standards are deplorable”

The location of this hotel is excellent as it is within a few minutes walk of Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and other places of interest. The location of this hotel is excellent as it is within a few minutes walk of Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and other places of interest. However it is very noisy at night both outside and inside the hotel. The constant noise from the slamming of rooms doors could be prevented quite inexpensively by installing soft close mechanisms. There is a lift. Beware to avoid stepping in dog poo on the street outside. The provision of free hot drinks 24/7 at reception is a nice touch as is having 24/7 reception and an area to sit. Most of the reception staff seemed friendly and helpful and there is a luggage room for when leaving later than check out. The beds were VERY comfortable and large in size. On this occasion the hotel let itself down very badly when it came to cleanliness and it was quite apparent that the cleaning staff routinely cut corners. The first room I was given (2nd floor) was small, scruffy and very dirty. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed and bore numerous cigarette burns. The toilet had not been flushed and the sink was grimy. Furniture was scuffed. Claims that rooms are non smoking are false. The room reeked strongly of cigarette smoke and there was a large pile of cigarette butts and cigarette ash on the windowsill. To be fair when I reported this the female receptionist immediately sent cleaners, however the only thing the cleaners did was open a window and pick up some of the cigarette butts, but left other cigarette butts and the cigarette ash in situ. Even opening the window did nothing to remove the stench in the room. I asked for and was given a room change. The alternative room was much better, albeit the toilet had not been flushed from someone using it and the bed sheets had holes in them ! During the 5 days I stayed at this hotel there was NO cleaning of my room whatsoever, which is poor.
