“3 nights stay over 2 visits.”
My wife and I stayed 3 nights. Friday, September 20th to Sunday, September 22nd, then 1 night, Thursday September 26th. My wife and I stayed 3 nights. Friday, September 20th to Sunday, September 22nd, then 1 night, Thursday September 26th. Pulling a roller carryon bag, along with a small bag, we walked back and forth from the bus station with relative ease. Perhaps a 20 minute walk on fairly decent sidewalks. Check ins, and check outs, went very well. Everyone we met that was working the front desk, were very friendly and helpful. . A joy to visit with. And those working the breakfast area were just as nice to us. Our room was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the Main Street, tram, and train station. It was quite noisy at times. However, with the air conditioning running, and earplugs, it was not an issue for our sleeping. We had 2 single beds, in a decent sized room. The mini fridge was nice. The room was clean, and it smelled good. The beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean, and spacious enough. The hotel is very old, but I absolutely love its charm. To me it looks very nice. The breakfast room was very nice, and spacious. The breakfast itself was wonderful. Plenty of tasty offerings, more than enough for us. The hotel is indeed centrally located, and we walked everywhere from the hotel. A great location for us tourists. I really enjoyed our stays. If the price was right once again, I would certainly stay there again.

“Decent stay”
The hotel is slightly dated but extremely clean, the shower in particular was good - very strong pressure. It’s very close to the train station, walkable to the bus station & a nice walk to the old town. Only issue was confrontation staff at the breakfast when the juice machine over spilled.

“A very convenient location”
Stayed for 2 nights whilst in Zagreb. We chose this hotel as it's right by the train station, and we were arriving into the city quite late. The reception staff were friendly. Stayed for 2 nights whilst in Zagreb. We chose this hotel as it's right by the train station, and we were arriving into the city quite late. The reception staff were friendly. The location is convenient for seeing all the sights in the city. Transfer to the airport is also easy, via the bus station which is around 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast selection was good and the room clean. Good shower and bathroom. The bedroom itself was showing it's age and needed a fresh lick of paint, but this was nothing major.

“Alright for one night stay”
We stayed for 1 night on our tour at the Balakn, For 1 night, it will do, but the hotel is a bit . dated, only 1 elevator that works slowly. Location is good - in front of the railway station and walking distance to the old town. Breakfast is alright, coffee don't even try it ...
