We chose this hotel on a friend's recommendation, and we have had such a lovely holiday. The staff on site are so so friendly and accommodate whatever they can to make your holiday enjoyable. It reminded us of the hotels we visited when we were younger, very clean and well maintained basic rooms with great showers and a small balcony. A restaurant that does buffet breakfast; eggs, bread, fruit, cheese etc and an evening menu with pizzas, grilled meats and pasta dishes all at a good price. The small beach is a 3 minute walk and the large beach only 10 minutes down a small road with not much traffic. The hotel has a small pool and pool area which is great to escape to when the beach gets busy. The small harbour at the beach has boats that go very frequently to Trogir and the island excursions. We arranged a collection from the airport via e mail before we arrived and the price was pretty much what the local taxis charged. Overall nice, honest, friendly people running a clean, well priced small hotel.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Villa Katerina’s sister/friend hotel “Krolo apartments” located in the next building. However, we were greeted and checked-in by the staff of Villa Katerina and our included breakfast was at the Villa Katerina. Staff is helpful and speak good English. For the accommodation and meals you can pay by card. Breakfast was good, offered some variety of food. We have ordered some lunch and dinner at the Villa Katerina and everything was delicious for an average price. Would like to mention waiter Mario who was very welcoming. The Villa has a parking spot for guests near by and it is located just few minutes walking from the nice clean beaches where you can swim or take a short boat ride to Trogir city.

“Lovely holiday, peaceful and very clean”

Recently stayed at the Villa Katarina. We had a sea view which was beautiful. Simon and his team were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was very clean and Covid procedures were followed at all times. 😊

Stayed at this lovely hotel at the end of June 2018 on the top 4th floor with stunning views from our balcony (not every balcony has a view of the sea) We arrived late at night from our 20 minute transfer from Split Airport via taxi (New bridge due to open to ease congestion). Greeted very warmly by the owner and his staff. Room albeit small everything you need, powerful shower, hairdryer, air con, balcony with table and chairs, no coffee/tea facilities or fridge. Pool with lovely views to sea, hot/cold outdoor shower, sun beds, table & chairs, cleaners in each day, good choice of breakfast. Lovely 15 minute walk to local beach through beautiful small streets across the road from the hotel, choice of busier beach to the right with all the bars for coffee/drinks/ boat trips/sports/beach shops/money exchange(Kuna local currency) supermarkets/restaurants/ exceptionally clean toilet blocks along the beach, boat taxi to Trogir. To the left quieter small cove with two restaurants and boat taxi to Trogir. Locally beautiful fine shingle crystal blue seas, child friendly. We had 4 meals at this hotel out of 7 as we loved the relax feel with our gin & tonics and chat with the staff. It was the Football World Cup during our stay, well done Croatia for getting through to the final! My husband loved his footy chat with the staff. We did a one day 3 Island boat trip (MB Toni) to a blue lagoon for swimming, beautiful Island of Solta, with fish bbq at Labadusa £20 a head, day trip by boat taxi to UNESCO sight of Trogir, wonderful ( like a mini Dubrovnik). Although our flight was not until evening and we had to check out of room by 12pm we were able to leave our cases, use the hot/cold shower outside/toilets inside and have an early meal before our flight home. We loved this hotel and would definitely return.
