My husband and I are long term experienced travelers. The Hotel Split is a gem among boutique hotels around the world. From the moment we arrived til we left with breakfast bags at 5am, the service was warm, genuinely caring n helpful. Janya n Tea Matate were our overall guides as we entered and left paradise. Anna seemed always available with a smile and the solution to any problem. You must try the cranial sacral therapy with Alla at the Spa! This is an American type of massage that balances the spinal fluid in the entire body relaxes. Now, about the beauty and convenience of the hotel. A beach within a few steps where the hotel has Lounge chairs and umbrellas within a foot of the Adriatic Sea. Gorgeous and spacious views to other islands, boats, people swimming n paddle boarding. Hotel heaven with a good restaurant for lunch only a few steps away on the other side. While all the rooms and public spaces are awash by direct views of the Adriatic Sea reserve one with a terrace to watch the sun from dusk to a Western sunset. We were lucky enough to book 20a which is a small apartment with the most fantastic views from our bed, our tub n our excellent terrace. I wished I could have stayed forever n hope to return again.

Hotel Split is in a beautiful location and on a shingle beach that have sunbeds which is charged at €30 a day for 2. You can use the sunbeds by the rooftop pool for free but there is no shade! Would be nice if they had the same sunbeds by the pool as they have in the beach as they have shades attac… more
Hotel Split is in a beautiful location and on a shingle beach that have sunbeds which is charged at €30 a day for 2. You can use the sunbeds by the rooftop pool for free but there is no shade! Would be nice if they had the same sunbeds by the pool as they have in the beach as they have shades attached to the beds! Our room was lovely spacious and clean with an amazing view, rooms clean daily and towels replaced every other day. Breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from. I had a treatment which was really lovely,but the music that was playing through the therapist phone had adverts in it so not that relaxing at is should have been, I was able to use the sauna and steam room which was on a different floor from the treatment room! Overall our stay was very pleasant the staff are all friendly and helpful If you do go out anywhere my advice is to use an Uber cab

Nice hotel and location good. Uber is €8 to Split . “Private beach” means you pay to rent beds @ €20-30 a day. NOT GOOD. Lift broken all of our stay. Slightly inconvenient if you’re not 100% mobile. Cleaners good. Breakfast staff fabulous but food repetitive ! We found Life’s a Beach next doo… more

“Just OK”
Just fell short due to tepid water in bathroom. Stayed a couple of nights. Lovely room, balcony & gorgeous view. Bathroom had a bath & shower. Not able to use bath as water from tap at hottest was barely warm so it would have been a cold bath. Such a shame for a 4 star hotel to fall short in this way, Breakfast plenty of choice. Had a couple of dishes in Arena restaurant which were lovely. Location excellent Beach and cafe below under separate management. Friendly reception at both. Such a shame if fell short on a basic amenity

Had high expectations based on the great reviews I read prior to visiting. The hotel location was very nice, cleaning was good. Breakfast was very disappointing, only ate breakfast there 3 of 7 days. We didn’t experience the best service from the receptionists as they weren’t very welcoming, we kind of felt like we were bothering them with questions and requests that we had. Tried to book one of the offers the spa had, but the receptionist told us the price would be a lot higher than the spa voucher said. Not impressed by that. Also a big letdown that we had to pay for the sunbeds outside the hotel, even though they belong to the hotel… Wouldn’t revisit this hotel unfortunately.
