Myself and my wife stayed here for a week and we would highly recommend it! The most beautiful view I have ever had the privilege of having while staying in a hotel. The staff are without a doubt the most friendly and happy staff also! This makes such a difference to the stay in our opinion. The whole hotel and the rooms are immaculately clean. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choice and good quality food. In the perfect location. Anyone who is looking for the most relaxing and beautiful time away needs to stay here. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday perfect

We staying at Hotel Cavat now. The hotel, rooms, everywhere is lovely and clean, nice hotel very friendly staff. Breakfast is good, something for everyone. I would advise you pay extra for sea view room as the view is amazing! The balcony is quite small though. The rooftop infinity pool is very small and is FREEZING! Only around 50 or so sunbeds which you pay €10 for the day or €5 for half day.....you get coupons for your payment where you can use to pay for food and drinks at the pool bar, so in theory the sunbeds cost nothing as you will always buy drinks or lunch, it's a good idea as it stops people reserving beds with their towels first thing in the morning. The Hotel Cavat is over the flight path so aeroplanes flying overhead to land and take off, but didn't hear any at night. No sandy beaches, all rocks, which I knew before coming here, but do miss a sandy beach where you can just walk into the sea! Lots of restaurants but not much night life like music bars, so very quiet town. Cavtat is beautiful but wouldn't come back as abit to quiet for me.

Beautiful resort and good quality hotel with beautiful veiws. Nice staff and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast was good quality but a little hectic just because it’s a busy hotel. Probably need to rethink queues for coffee machine especially for older clients and disabled. But everything was great ... more

Beautiful resort and good quality hotel with beautiful veiws. Nice staff and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast was good quality but a little hectic just because it’s a busy hotel. Probably need to rethink queues for coffee machine especially for older clients and disabled. But everything was great quality and they really try to keep standards high. Very comfortable beds and bed linen . Reception staff very friendly and helpful and pool area although crammed is very nice with great veiws as on a higher floor. We both had a massage which was reasonably priced and very nice. Cavtat is absolutely beautiful and the locals are inviting.

The hotel itself is a great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and a wonderful sea view. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing - we were half board, but after 3 very uninspiring evening meals (food seemed similar night after night) we decided to pay out and eat out for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was also uninspiring - no variation on the menu - fruit salad was tinned fruit cocktail with occasional pieces of watermelon available (once it was gone, it was gone). Another bowl of fresh fruit (apples, pears, banana) was brown and mushy. Fried eggs sat for a long time and were solid. Hotel information states "steps away from the beach"... this is a public "beach" which is concrete slabs and rocks to the water, no sun beds, a few deckchairs for hire at 8 Euro for the day. The hotel's rooftop pool is tiny and freezing - with approx 30-40 sun beds crammed on a patio area. The sun beds have to be booked a day in advance for a cost of 5Euro and 10Euro for a towel on loan. The beds have guests names pegged to them and on the 4 or 5 occasions we went to use the pool approx 50% of the beds were booked but not being used. Finally we had to check out at 11am (airport transfer not until 7pm) and there were no facilities to shower/change other than the general toilet. We were offered a room (IF available) til 4pm at the cost of 60% of the room rate (for us that would have been 240 Euro!! No bar area other than the pool bar (which was closed on the few occasions we went to the pool). The cost of our holiday was increased quite considerably by sun bed hire at public beaches, having to buy/hire towels and eating out
