“Enjoyed Xi'an!”
I was absolutely blown away with our stay. Although it was a brief stay with my family for only a few days, expectations were completely exceeded. I was absolutely blown away with our stay. Although it was a brief stay with my family for only a few days, expectations were completely exceeded. The service was fabulous thanks to a wonderful staff member by the name of Angel. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable. She was very kind, respectful, and intuitive. She really made a positive difference in our experience at the hotel. The hotel overall was fantastic and we hope to stay there again some day.

“Nicest hotel I encountered in China”

After traveling all night on the overnight train from Beijing to Xi’an and then spending the day sightseeing at the Terracotta Warrior Museum, I felt incredibly grateful to encounter this exceptional hotel. I wish all of my accommodations had been as nice as this facility. I would provide a higher rating; however, I do not feel I had sufficient time to properly evaluate the hotel. Also, I wish more of the staff were able to provide assistance. I respect that foreigners should not expect the staff to speak every language, and I find it incredibly frustrating to not be able to attain any help due to language barriers. That being said, for the most part, the staff members were as helpful as they were able.

“The Lights are Almost Out”
Not 5 star as expected and about 20-30 minutes from city wall (Xi’an centre city). Nice staff who tried their best but... The lighting in rooms and cafe are so bad I can only assume its to hide the worn building and fittings. This hotel should really turn the lights off fully and do a refit. Wor… more
Not 5 star as expected and about 20-30 minutes from city wall (Xi’an centre city). Nice staff who tried their best but... The lighting in rooms and cafe are so bad I can only assume its to hide the worn building and fittings. This hotel should really turn the lights off fully and do a refit. Worn chairs and water dripping through the ceiling were a particularly bad look. Rooms are pokey and dirty as per photos. If booking (and paying) for three star accommodation it would be very fair. The fittings demonstrate that, at its prime, the Wyndham would have been lovely, it’s just that this time was a while back.
