“Great hotel ”
Clean large rooms - including a bath. Good air con & great buffet breakfast (with coffee!) and mix of Chinese / western breakfast. Been using cabs & paying 15rmb to get to sights in city (T Army is out of town).

“Great location, hotel needs an upgrade”
This was at one time a very nice hotel, but the rooms are in need of a makeover. The location is great, the staff are lovely. The location is close to shopping and not far from the city wall. The breakfasts are very good at this hotel.

I spent two nights here as part of a tour from UK. I found the room (783) to be of a very good size with a large bathroom too. Comfortable bed, all the expected amenities. I spent two nights here as part of a tour from UK. I found the room (783) to be of a very good size with a large bathroom too. Comfortable bed, all the expected amenities. Even had BBC World News on TV. Free WiFi a reasonable speed. Despite being a non smoking room there was a faint odour of smoke, and I woke early on the second night to a much stronger smell of smoking which seemed to be coming through the air system. Maybe the staff or guests have a smoking area near the air intakes? This really needs to be sorted as it is very unpleasant for a non smoker. Evening included buffet was very good with lots of choice with both Chinese and Western dishes.

“Golden flower hotel Xian”
The hotel was simple and warm.The hotel is mainly occupied by travel groups. The breakfast buffet was good The ambience of the hotel was Chinese culture and good. The hotel was neat and tidy. The hotel toilet was spic and span The toiletries was Chinese.

Just like the previous hotels nice from the outside but looks are deceiving. Food about the same as the previous hotels on this tour, located on a busy junction within walking distance of shops etc. Beds much better to sleep on, fixtures and fittings need uo dating and again no bar to speak of.
