Excellent location and spacious room in a rundown establishment. Judging from other travelers photos, there are great variations in apartments to get here. We got an old one which could benefit from complete renovation. But then, the price could be double. The management here found the right balance matching the room rate. Service is friendly and welcoming and cleaners do the best they can. The fact that they accept people staying for just one night and even allow us to bring our dog is very nice. But really, the best thing is the location of this mixed use tower with offices, homes and serviced apartments all under one roof. The parking across the street is a landmark from the 70’s and costs ¥120/24h. I will come back, pick a good room and stay for a month. I think that will be perfect!

“You pay for the location!”

Conveniently located in the heart of Jiangan. Rooms are clean but not well maintained as everything feels pretty old, even though it works. Proximity to the FFC and the cheap price tag makes it worth living in for a couple of days.

Location is very convenient on line 2 of the metro providing great connectivity to both Pudong and Hongqiao airports.Great place to hang out and within 3 stops of East Nanjing Lu ( shopping, dining, walking around).Once again the location is brilliant and very safe. Never had an ounce of nerves walking in past midnight. Multiple food outlets, both local and fast food. The room itself is super basic and furniturenot ergonomically designed. Bed corners have been taped in all rooms,obviously multpile guests have been hurt. I was always scared the plastic folding chair would collapse under me. The shower itslef is so tiny one cannot get in and close the door. Hence the whole tiny bathroom gets wet when one showers. The staff was courteous but not overly helpful, quite matter of fact. We were there for a week without any change of bed linen. Taxi back to Pudong International airport was really far( one hour) and cost 200 RMB. Required if you are traveling with luggage though since there is no direct metro, even though line number is same at # 2. The MAGLEV is a fantastic experience and worth every penny spent. you also geta 20% discount on showing your arrival boarding card. You can buy return or one way tickets depending on length of stay. Shanghai is a very nice city, though vast. Best to use the metro since the roads are always clogged. Must sees are - walk on Bund, visit to Old town next to Yu Garden, Xintiandi to see and be seen with the beautiful people.
