“Great hotel”
We stayed on 12th floor - others upgraded to a higher level. Great views either way. Room was spacious and probably the best of the three we stayed in whilst in China. Breakfast was on 25th floor which provided excellent views whilst eating a decent choice of food.

“Great hotel good location ”
The hotel itself is perfect. Rooms are so clean, modern and well kept. Rest of hotel also reflects the same. The location is great. Breakfast is perfect. The only thing I will say is the lifts are actually ridiculous, twice we had to wait over 20minutes (literally not a joke) just to get a blood... more

“Air con set to 28 degrees...beginning of November.”
The lift situation is ridiculous. It caused problems with our tour group as, despite best efforts, it could take twenty minutes to get to ground floor. Not enough lifts and ridiculously slow. Loved the position...walk around the corner and you're in traditional, old-style chinese neighbourhood.... more

“Safe choice, excellent location but very average ”
I stayed here as part of an intrepid trip. Arrived a day early so stayed for two nights. It was a very safe but a grey introduction to China. It was short walk from the Bund. The room was comfortable and breakfast offered amazing views over Shanghai. It was fine but average with no real pers... more
