“Excellent location in downtown Shanghai, old world charm and a beautifully restored.”
Late posting, my stay was during December 2018. I’ve always wanted to stay in this hotel, and have heard so much about them. I booked my stay thru Ctrip. I arrived in the afternoon, and the taxi will pull up in front of the hotel (one way road). Do ask the door staff to help if you have a lot… more

Some mixed reviews on this hotel but ignore them! Get on metro line #2 - exit people square and look for #9 The hotel is right outside! The location cannot be any more convenient to access a central line. Now for breakfast turn left when walking outside the hotel and voila! STARBUCKS ok the r… more

This s a historic hotel no doubt but one can not rest on the laurels. The stars are totally for location, such is the location. Rooms are small, facing the side wall of next building. Food is aweful and plonked in front of you, not served. Taste less as well as looks unappetizing. Extremely rude… more
