“Ocean Hotel - Very Nice 4 Star Hotel”
Very nice 4 star hotel, spacious, clean room, good variety of breakfast foods to suit all tastes. Marble reception area, high ceilings, spotless. Reception did not always understand English but tried to be helpful. Would stay here again if exploring Shanghai.

“Good hotel and very good location”
Stayed here for 3 nights. There's a big bed, there are English channels on tv, there's a bathroom with a bathtub and a window between the bedroom and the bathroom (there's a roll blind curtain). “Fabulous hotel, reasonably priced and near main attractions”

The hotel is located in the west of Shanghai near the river and the Bund. It's about a 20-30min drive from the main train station and about an hour from Pudong Airport, these times are outside of rush hour later in the evening (about 8pm). “Shanghai Disappointment ”
After a long flight it was disappointing to have to wait 20 minutes to check in, even worse was the very rude reception staff. Our room was small with tea and coffee facilities but limited storage.
