“Adequate”
The hotel is jaded, rooms are not tiny, but adequately comfortable. The best thing I liked was that they did not skimp on the heating. The hotel is jaded, rooms are not tiny, but adequately comfortable. The best thing I liked was that they did not skimp on the heating. It's high time, and the Government in ShangHai has passed a law that hotels do not offer disposable toiletries. Hence, carry your own toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit etc. I have been doing this for the past few years. In case of request, however, they do offer disposable toiletries. The location was very convenient for my work. The housekeeping service is polite, and thoughtful. There is a convenience store just beside the hotel and assorted Chinese eateries just behind the hotel. The biggest drawback during my trip (December 2019) was that they were renovating their "dining room", and hence, we were given packed breakfast which was not too palatable. Hence, it's suggested to call the hotel before booking. Apart from this let down, the stay was comfortable.

Global problem. -- Renovation required!

“It's not as use to be”
Our company booked this hotel and I stayed 7 nights there. Well, we use to be in this hotel often, this time it wasn't a pleasant stay. The room is old, the amenities lack, the service is not great. Breakfast is the only thing that didn't change in past 2 years (it's a good thing)
