I recently had a fantastic stay at Dorsett Shanghai. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around. Just a short walk away, there's a beautiful park perfect for relaxing strolls. The staff at the hotel are delightful and provided excellent service throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the Feng Shui Bar within the hotel, where Mr. Thomas offered exceptional service. Thank you for making my experience so memorable!

My wife and I spent a week at the Dorsett Hotel and found the accommodations excellent. The room was great, and the location was perfect - Metro stop in the lobby - super convenient. The breakfast was above and beyond - and we would 100% recommend this location - the staff was very accommodating - and spoke English quite well. This was our first trip to Shanghai - and we would definitely stay there in the future. We travel frequently and this hotel is on our list to return.

A very good stay at this hotel near century Park and the green line 2. This is an excellent hotel, normally I would stay at an Airbnb, I usually stay with English speaking hosts. I had no problem communicating with the front desk. The park view room was more than adequate. The bed was very hard for me. One day hotels may have softer beds for some people. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The location and neighbourhood are excellent as well.

“Convenience is this hotels key”

This hotel is really good, I’m going to open with that because it’s highly convenient and the rooms have a beautiful view which overlook Century Park and the incredible Shanghai skyline. As I said, the hotel pretty much has a metro station integrated into it. If you use the right exit, the door to the hotel is right at the top of the escalator which is really helpful in getting into the downtown area or the airport. The rooms are lovely and spacious and ours has a nice little balcony overlooking the park and skyline which was a nice bonus we hadn’t accounted for. Everything was comfortable and quiet too which also helped after arriving on a long haul flight. Now for the points which stopped this being a full 5 star review. Firstly, the shower situation. I’m more a fan of having a shower separately to the bath but here the shower is attached to the wall, when on the water runs over the side of the bath and is a little awkward for usage. Rooms could use having a shower head right over the bath itself. Breakfast was serviceable. The first day was great as we were early down but the second day was different as we were later. Items were either running very low or had run out. About 20 mins before the service ended we were also told that we’d need to be out by the time advertised for service which made it feel a little rushed. Overall though, a nice hotel which is convenient and comfortable.
