It all started with airport pickup. It was effortless and the car service was quick and efficient. On arrival at the hotel, they were waiting for us at the entry doors and to us to our rooms for in room check in. We had been upgraded to Harbour view connecting rooms. They were spacious, contemporary and had great views of the harbour and Central/Wanchai. They had complimentary wine and snacks in the room. Later they sent up gifts for the kids. I'm ambassador Life Time Titanium Elite and so get Exec Lounge access. They provided the kids with access as well. Great lounge that had buffet breakfast (European and Asian options). The services was stellar. They provide breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and snacks. They knew you by name after the first couple of visits. Extremely warm and welcoming. Pool area was beautiful. Looks into the mountain. Attendant was great in getting towels and anything else you needed. Pool is decent size with plenty of lounge chairs. Nice hot tub. Hotel is connected to the Pacific Place mall. All the high end brands are there. But also great restaurants that are reasonably priced. Great Thai, Asian, Italian and Starbucks as well. There is also Great Grocery store, which has a huge selection of ready to go meals you can take back to the room. We did that several nights for the kids. Hotel staff are helpful in sending up plates or cutlery if you need them. Concierge is first rate. Happy to help in person or through email to arrange restaurants, tickets for the amusement parks, car service or any ideas you need for your stay. Super friendly. The room attendants were terrific. Right there when you needed them to service the rooms. Great with the kids and just super friendly and attentive. On Christmas Day they put Christmas stockings in each rooms with Cookes and a little stuffed bear. Later in our trip they sent up tins of cookies for the family. They have a loyalty team and they were super throughout the stay in making sure it would be a memorable trip. Finally was check out day. They gave us late check out on both rooms, and assisted with car service and met us at the airport to take our bags right through to check in and even put our bags on the weigh scale with our airline. Above and beyond. Can't say enough about this team and property. It's located right in Admiralty and so easy access to Admiralty MTR which connects to everything. Easy to get to Wanchai for dinner, or walk over to Central to do some shopping or business meetings. They are near everything. Truly a 5 star team and property. Can't say enough about the JW! They really created a special memory for my family. The kids will never forget the experience.

Once again we experienced a special stay at the JW Marriott on Hong Kong Island. The hotel is my go to when I travel there on business or for a break. All the staff were wonderful, but in particular I would like to mention the following people working in the Executive Club: Caroline, Siobhan, Felix, Andy, Sophie, Stephanie, Shami and Echo. The hotel is lovely, despite the roadworks by the hotel, staff at main reception outstanding - however When looking for an amazing spa / massage experience - look elsewhere . There is no Spa and the massage area is a small broom style cupboard through the gym section / changing room so you can hear the people putting weights down while trying to relax , but worst of all the masseuse I think was internet trained. It was more I was being kneaded like bread than actually massaged, to the point I was actually laughing at the poor environment and experience I was having and the masseuse knew it.
