This is a solid budget hotel. Note that the room is very small, most of the floor space is taken up by the desk chair. I'll review various aspects below. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet costs 80hkd, a decent price given most meals in Wan Chai cost somewhere between 50-100hkd. The buffet has hash browns, bacon, sausage, butter-fried tomatoes, cooked potatos, fried noodles, a manned cooking station for eggs, a salad bar, a yogurt fridge, a toast station, and chinese breakfast offerings like congee and dimsum. The drink selection isn't great. Just coffee and orange juice from concentrate that honestly tasted pretty bad. Overall, the quality isn't amazing, but its really convenient to have right in the basement, is definitely edible and the staff are really nice, helpful and friendly. Room: Just 13 square meters so very small, but definitely cozy. I really appreciated that the lighting is all yellow light, the lighting is really quite tasteful. There are only two outlets in the room, which I found to be a bit lacking and you will need to bring your own adapters. There are around 20 tv channels, mostly Chinese and cantonese, not a huge selection. The wifi is very reliable and fast. The bed is quite comfortable but a little on the small side and the linens are very clean. Comes with a small fridge, a water heater, and a nice big desk. Lots of storage in the room which is nice. The bathroom is predictably small, has a different kind of outlet which probably no one will be able to use, but the water in the shower was reliably hot. Location: The location I found to be really great. Just a 5 minute walk from the visa office, 5-10 from the train stations and about 20 minutes to the harbor park. I would call this a central location. There are a lot of really good restaurants nearby which I encourage everyone to check out! Staff: The staff are super friendly and will help you out with any questions you have. They left a really good impression on me, and definitely up the overall quality of the hotel. For instance, when you go in, there is a guy who will hustle over to press the elevator button, and will sort of usher you in. These little things make a big difference IMO. Cafe: The ground floor cafe is really nice. Super high ceilings, a massive chandolier in the ordering areas, lots of seating, tasteful music that is not overly loud, elegant decor. I went there most days to get work done while waiting for the visa. The teas feel a bit pricey at 41hkd for a simple tea with honey, but what can you do, its Wan Chai. Workout Room The workout room is on the third floor. I wanted to use this room, because it was summer and I much preferred to get exercise indoors, but I just couldn't get myself to go in. The room just has such a strong musty smell, I couldn't possibly imagine exercising in there. Overall, I can definitely recommend this budget hotel, the service is very high quality and there were no glaring issues with the experience, besides perhaps the musty smell in the workout room.

“Great hotel.”

Fantastic hotel. Room was great (although we did have an upgrade to floor 2, the signature suite). Very clean, minimal noise and a good price. Breakfast was really good. Transport around the area was great. We were are at the HK 7’s and this was a great location to walk to the stadium.

I have stayed here over the years when I need a decent budget hotel in Hong Kong. I paid about £85 a night for two nights, which is good value on Hong Kong Island anyway reasonably central. It is a short walk from Gloucester Road, midway between Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. It is about 10 minutes' walk to the nearest Wan Chai MTR (subway) entrance on Johnson Road. There are countless restaurants and 7-Elevens within a few metres. The hotel room is small but functional and clean, with a TV and minibar, and the usual amenities. This is not a luxury hotel, but is good value for money. The only odd thing is the reception, which appears to be a converted bedroom on the 2nd floor!

I occasionally stay here when out on the town . They upgraded single room to family room on request. Though room was bigger with two double beds which the extra bed was no use to me. There's no fridge but room was reasonably clean. Tried buffet breakfast as it was merely USD 10. It was small but had all varieties. The two young female waitresses were really polite, please note Management.
