After I changed room after complaining of the safe not working, I received a bigger better room on the same floor. Clean and quiet room with walk in shower. Breakfast costs extra. Easy to get a table for breakfast which had brewed coffee but mainly caters for Chinese tastes. Eggs only available fried, but still a good breakfast. Did not appear to be a bar area for a quiet drink. Walking range to DaDong famous Peking Duck restaurant. Not much activity arouns the area though. Staff speak passable English, enough to check in.

This is a place where I regularly stay because its pretty near to the house of our main business partner and also his relative is in high up here. The rooms are good. Usually get in the 10th or 11th floor. The big problem is initiating a conversation as most of them don't speak english. The first time I was there I missed the buffet breakfast due to some reason and the lady even though could not understand english brought me bread, milk and other stuff that was vegetarian. They go a bit out of way to make us food that tasted like Indian vegetarian stuff and to an extent they are able to get to that levels. Other than this the hotel is not something which you can write much about. A typical hotel for a business traveller. Reception service is good. Yes its got one lovable park where I spend the evenings strolling.

I went on a trip organised by the city council for a competition in Beijing. This hotel is quite a good place. It has a very big lobby and the decoration looks good. Plenty of couches and resting places in the lobby. I had a tough time at the Front Desk because the staff does not speak English very well. They tried hard but finally I had to ask for another Chinese guest to translate for me. If there is someone that I would praise, it was definitely the bellboy. He was really friendly and had great attitude towards guests. The service was quite slow and there were some guests that were not very pleasant. Two men, half-naked, smoking right beside my room. The whole corridor was reaked of smoke. The room was comfortable. However, the air-conditioners only produced warm air when I was staying there (well, it was spring but the sun did a great job warming up the place already). The bathroom was rather small and definitely could use more lighting. And I would suggest using your own towels because I found hair stuck inside. The food was average. Chinese food was not quite to my liking. However, I loved the yoghurt they offered every breakfast. I stayed there for 4 days but the breakfast choices were the same, not a lot of variety. Good value for money. There is also a Beijing roasted duck restaurant right next to it that you can try out.

Appears to be very large pleasant hotel. Only persons who speak English are in reception. This is a bit of a problem in the restaurant, but certainly interesting results. Staff are charming and try very hard to help with menu and food. Staff very friendly. Chinese restuarant very good. Breakfast typically Chinese cuisine but limited for European tastes. The room I stayed in was OK, but in need of some upgrading, bathroom average.
