All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…
On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

Came on a college trip. Had a twin room which was very clean, decent size, with sitting area and large windows which was lovely. Food in the restaurant in the evenings was good. Breakfast had a variety of Eastern/Western food so you could pick and choose what you fancy - would recommend steamed bun surprise in the far corner. Staff were nice and was pretty local. There are 2 7/11s nearby and a lot of other independents if you want to buy any food/supplies. The beds were pretty hard but they weren't uncomfortable, once you're lying down you don't notice.

The room was clean and with the needed amenities. The hotel location is a bit far from the touristic attractions. You need metro (5-minute walk away from Agricultural Exhibition Center Station (Line 10), car or taxi. Taxi pretty economical so location it is not a big problem. We have dinner at the hotel and it was very nice, delicious food for affordable prices. Good service. You can also have very simple local eateries just across the road. They can speak a little English at front desk. No maps available.

As a professor of Chinese studies, I take a group of students to China every summer. This year we stayed at the Young An Hotel which is located not too far from the Beijing Capital Airport in a very untouristy residential neighborhood. The location is a bit off the beaten track but if you enjoy residential neighborhood with lots of small places to eat although this means few menus are in English, it's great. The prices are very cheap and there are very few rip offs, unlike some places more centrally located. Unfortunately we had a couple problems with the hotel which really left a bad impression. First, someone tried to break into my student's suitcase which was obvious because the lock was broken (but not opened) when she returned to her room and she had noticed that the zipper on the suitcase was on a different side then she had left it the day before. The hotel did not take this seriously and in fact tried to imply that it was something that might've happened to the lock before we had arrived. (The lock was brand-new--I gave it to her myself.) also the first night we had drinks in the beer garden, they were very reasonably priced but when my students went back a second time, they were given menus all in English with much higher prices. It was a shame because the hotel breakfast and facilities were fairly nice but I would not stay there again.
