The rooms are large, and equipped with a fridge, kettle and microwave. They're quite well insulated and the beds are comfortable. However, the standard of decor is fairly shabby but clean. It could use a facelift. You probably need Google translate on your smartphone to be able to communicate with the staff. Whilst they tried to have one English speaking staff member on Reception, it was often quite difficult to get things done if you don't speak the language.

“Comfortable bed but bathroom is in glass wall”

Bed and pilow which was stuffed with sand were comfortable to make me sleep. The internet was okay, I could use WhatsApp and Yahoo but China blocks Google and Facebook so we need to pay for VPN to unblock. Bed and pilow which was stuffed with sand were comfortable to make me sleep. The internet was okay, I could use WhatsApp and Yahoo but China blocks Google and Facebook so we need to pay for VPN to unblock. The bathroom is made of glass wall and door, so I felt not much privacy if there's companion outside.There is restaurant bar on the ground. Outside the hotel is also surrounded with small restaurants and walking distance to convenient stores and hospital.

Got a large family room, with 2 bedrooms. The decor is aged and some upgrading needed. Got a large family room, with 2 bedrooms. The decor is aged and some upgrading needed. Check-in procedure was smooth, but the staff were not very friendly.Beds are comfortable and clean, but hard by Western standards. Tried the breakfast, but it was an event that you can skip. Mainly catering to Chinese taste, but even then, the food supply was small and slow, quality was not good - very cheap stuff. Dining area was extremely small (enough for 10-20 people only). You can better get a room without breakfast, and get something better down the road. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, so not a worry. The internet is free, but you have to get the WIFI password through WeChat. So, download WeChat before you check-in to this hotel.

Location good for restaurants and bars, not good for sightseeing. Room was spacious and comfortable but everything looks tired. Needs refurbishing (both the room and the rest of the hotel). The room also smelt of stale cigarettes. I forgot to bring my passport but receptionist was kind enough to let me stay anyway ("as a guest of my girlfriend"). Still wouldn't come again though, I would search for something that's been kept in better condition than this for the same price.
