We stayed 9 days at the hotel, in a two bedroom deluxe suite. 5 people, father, mother and three teenagers. The internet was not particularly fast but could pull Netflix in tolerable quality. the apartment was cleaned on a daily basis. A bit strange with the glass wall into the one bathroom. The breakfast was good and varied and healthy with many vegetables. The reception staff were very service-minded and helpful. The women speak much better English than the men. The pool, fitness and rest rooms were not used by other than us when we were there, so we enjoyed it. The hotel is located very close to two malls with many restaurants. Metro is also very close to the hotel. We can highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed in Somerset twice during November 2015 and each one of the stays was very pleasant. ROOMS Very spacious, with everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, nice living room. WiFi worked great, sometimes (even w/o VPN) you could access Facebook, etc. STAFF Very helpful, all speaking good English. Helped us with managing taxi to the airport, with exchanging money, arranging train tickets to Shanghai, etc. Thanks a lot! LOCATION The only negative thing. It is far from the centre. If you decide to go by metro, then count with at least 30 - 35 minutes for getting from hotel to Tiananmen Square. It is easily reachable from airport (only 1 change) though. BREAKFAST Delicious, big variety, plenty of food. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Somerset to anyone, for the price you pay, you get enough of service. Just count with the fact, that you will be spending a lot of time in metro when traveling around the city and sightseeing.

“Good place to stay”

My family had a trip to Beijing last 2 month and we had a chance to stay at Someset Zhongguancun, it was a impressive experience for me about the service and how they treat me there, very clever staff that could assist customer and make us feel like at home. I really appreciate that time

“good choice to be away from the city centre”

Hotel is not near to city centre but within walking distance to shopping mall and subway station. We arrived early morning and was lucky to be able to check in early. Hotel is not near to city centre but within walking distance to shopping mall and subway station. We arrived early morning and was lucky to be able to check in early. The counter staffs are friendly and helpful. We booked a 1 bedroom deluxe room. Living area and bedroom is separate, the living area is appropriate. The room is clean and tidy, really feel like home. Never go wrong to choose Ascott group accommodation.
