“10 day stay--good for what you pay.”

Often I see reviews on Chinese budget hotels and wonder what people expect? This is a pretty well-known budget hotel chain in China and it is exactly as I expected (better actually). I paid about $45 a night with BF. I had a king bed and it was excellent. Housekeeping kept the room clean and replenished my water/tea/etc. The breakfast was typical Chinese breakfast and other than a lack of variety (day to day) it was ok. If you only staying a night or two you won't care. AC is good if needed plus windows open enough for ventilation if desired. Cons: Bring your phrase book, not much Chinese. No fridge, if you like cold beer buy it daily. Wifi decent but slow at times. TV is strictly Chinese (but I like that personally). It is close to subway (10 minute walk) and several decent restaurants. A decent mall/grocery store and 24 hour 7-11 near the subway. Plenty of taxis in area. If you have time walk 10 minutes west to Olympic Forest Park, pretty nice stroll.
