I especially want to mention Zhang, Denise, who did everything in her power to solve my problem since I forgot a hard drive in the room and I realized it once I left China. I am eternally grateful, Denise, for your commitment to being able to solve my problem. “I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

I am obsessed with this hotel, actually. The biggest advantage is definitely the enormous breakfast buffet. We’re talking noodles, chicken, fried rice, vegetables, sometimes curry, sometimes spaghetti, congee, dumplings, buns, eggs, French fries, soup, a full salad bar, a full fruit bar, you name i… more

I am obsessed with this hotel, actually. The biggest advantage is definitely the enormous breakfast buffet. We’re talking noodles, chicken, fried rice, vegetables, sometimes curry, sometimes spaghetti, congee, dumplings, buns, eggs, French fries, soup, a full salad bar, a full fruit bar, you name it— plus a “Western” breakfast section well-stocked with toast, pastries, little cakes, cereal, yogurt, etc. This breakfast is to die for and comes with your stay. There’s also fun little massage chairs by the exercise room, fun fact. The laundry room is great as well though you do have to pay the front desk to get coins to use if you stay longer than a weekend (they give you free laundry coins your first weekend, or they did for me, at least). The room cleaning service is great, the TV has all the CCTV channels plus a few international channels like CNN, HBO, etc. And the air conditioning is a LIFESAVER though the lowest it does go is about 20-21 degrees Celsius, so keep that in mind in the summer, but I am a wimp in the heat and it served its purpose just fine for me. The only downside is that the subway is about a 15-18 minute walk (whether you are walking to Dongsi Shitiao or Dongzhimen, either way). But there are lots of great restaurants and shopping in this area as well. I am very impressed with this hotel overall.

The hotel lobby is as expected, the room was modern but basic, air-conditioning was not very cold as could not change to get colder, this might be ok for local Chinese but not for over sea traveler’s it was to hot and didn’t have good sleep I did have someone come up but he didn’t do anything, so… more

The hotel lobby is as expected, the room was modern but basic, air-conditioning was not very cold as could not change to get colder, this might be ok for local Chinese but not for over sea traveler’s it was to hot and didn’t have good sleep I did have someone come up but he didn’t do anything, so they did change the room to one not facing the sun, (a bit better) It was good that water was in the fridge Breakfast was good but some of the food was on the cold side, but a good selection to choose from . Wi fi was ok was able to get in the room so that was a good thing obviously having to use a VPN like all of China

Stayed at this hotel 1st to 3rd of May. I had already emailed them to ask for an early check-in as we had an overnight flight from the UK and knew we would want to take a few hours nap. We were still wondering what we would do for four hours having not slept on the flight however, when we arrived around 8.30 in the morning they gave us the room key which we were very grateful for. The room was nothing fancy but had all we needed and was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet had a wide range of both western and Asian cuisine and it was the only hotel we stayed in that had baked beans at breakfast! Staff were all very helpful.Special mention to Ben (sorry not sure of his surname) who helped us a number of times with booking trips and also Lisa Fu. Metro is a little bit of walk so if you have any mobility issues you might want to choose to take a taxi which are very reasonably priced and which reception staff will book for you. Would recommend staying here.
