“Super friendly and helpful staff, good location”

With my family of four, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for a week in January 2019. The unit was huge, with good-sized bathrooms, efficiently equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The best part was the front office staff, who were incredibly helpful and thoughtful in attending to all of our needs and requests, most notably when my son came down with an eye infection, and the lovely staff arranged for him to visit an eye specialist with extremely short notice, making the appointment, telling the taxi driver, and giving us specific instructions about finding the clinic we were attending. We could not have been more grateful.

Great staff who were friendly and attentive to our needs. Apartment was well kept and location was great. Not exactly in central where the main tourist attractions were, but proximity to subway and in a quiet location within walking distance to food and shopping mall, made this an excellent choice. May not be easy for taxi drivers to locate the place specifically as it is housed within a residential project.

WE spent 7 nights at Ascott Beijing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was winter time but the whole apartment was more than adequately heated, to the extent that we started sweating. Maybe turning down the temperature by a few degrees will be more environmentally friendly. THe apartment was huge with a large Living room, kitchen, laundry with washer cum dryer, 2 very spacious bedrooms with large and comfortable beds. It was very clean and located in a quiet but convenient location. There are many restaurants around the apartment, providing a wide range of food. A convenient store just opp the apartment, medium supermart around the corner. Huge walmart and a large mall just 10 min walk from the apartment. Breakfast was included in our package, and the spead was good with both Chinese and Western selections. Small suggestion : Install more lights in the lifts, there was barely any light in the lift. we and other passengers had difficulties reading the lift buttons, and we saw many customers who had to use their handphone lights to read the buttons We would recommend stay at the Ascott Beijing.

A first rate place to stay. Very big suites with full kitchen, dining area AND laundry. Decent breakfast buffet slanted Chinese. A short walk to Guomao subway station and also to reasonable dining options. A very quiet location and hotel so excellent sleep quality. This is not a full service hotel and the staff command of English is moderate.
