When arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the bell boys whom readily handled our luggage. They provided extra towels and made us feel welcome. The next morning at breakfast we were greeted by Mr. Engelbert Altuve who showed us how the breakfast process worked and gave us a tour. After being seated we were greeted by Mr. Geraldo whom welcomed us to the hotel and gave our daughter a muffin to eat. During our last day at the hotel he was able to get a dish for me that was on the previous day’s menu and make it available for me that day. He went above and beyond by doing this when he didn’t have to and no other hotel would consider doing this. We really appreciated his attentiveness and excellent service. He has multiple decades of service experience and it showed with the excellent service he provided. The only recommendation for the hotel would be to update their fitness cardio equipment as it is dated and old. This is an excellent hotel with excellent service, especially from Mr. Geraldo. I highly recommend this hotel!

“Comfortable, Pleasant Stay”

Good, clean hotel. Convenient location close to business area and transit, and highway to the airport. Nice area to walk in, with many restaurants nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is nice, and the staff (Engelbert, maitre d' and the servers) are great.

This is perhaps the hardest review to write. It started with an excellent, premium location, a warm welcome from reception staff and quick, efficient check-in process. However the facility looked like it in need for renovation. My room, which was listed as premium club room, looked underwhelming for what I was used of an Intercontinental establishment. The window was small and looked like it was not cleaned (on the outside) for a long time. The first impression of the room is more like in a 3-star hotel. Being said, the room and bathroom were clean and fairly well kept. The club lounge was nice with decent refreshments throughout the day. Here is the deal, pricing of the hotel was significantly lower than other 5-star hotels in the area, and was on par with the Holiday Inn Express next door, at least during the time of my stay. This means you would pay a good price for a somewhat old hotel, but then receive 5-star service. That is a very good deal in my opinion.
