Overall a fantastic stay; we loved the lodge, our room (we had the basic one) and the excursions - definitely recommend!! It was cold while we were there so appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom! The outdoor area had fires every evening and blankets were available at reception, which were nice, particularly when going to the observatory, which was awesome! We did it twice and loved it both times. The service at the bar was outstanding, the drinks were great and we liked that area of the lodge to hang out and meet other guests. If you like excellent hamburgers, you’ll love the ones off the bar menu. We had them 3 times, a couple of times opting for them over eating in the restaurant. We chose to spend two nights without the all inclusive package to get acclimated, relax and enjoy the lodge and our last three nights all inclusive. That worked well for us and glad we did it, the only drawback is that I had to have to separate reservations, I wish that process had been a little more seamless.

We stayed 4 nights at Nayara on B&B package and did 5 full days of private excursions. I highly recommend the property to anyone visiting Atacama and wish to have a authentic experience without scarifying high end services. Activities: The private excursions organized by Franz and led by our fantastic guide David were the highlight of our stay. Both Franz and David are very knowledgeable and accommodating, they go the extra mile the deliver a bespoke experience. David is probably the best tour guide we have had after travelling in many countries. Spa: The spa is relatively small however there are plenty of pools outdoor, plus a heated jacuzzi that can be booked in advance. We tried the deep tissue massage which was very good! F&B: Standards are high for both lunch and diner, we didn't get bored after 4 days. Special thanks to Franz and David for the amazing experience, we look forward to returning next time.

What a great hotel. Impeccable service. Stayed 4 nights and booked the all-inclusive package. In contrast to a previous reviewer, we did not see any elderly at breakfast or during the excursions - so I guess they had bad luck in the pre-season. Most guests were between 30-50 years of age. If I were to highlight one aspect of Nayara, it is the restaurant. The chef knows how to cook! The soups are next level, especially a honeydew gazpacho with an out-of-this-world balance between acidity and sweetness. Maybe the protein portions at lunch were too large - but most people will not complain about that. 3-course lunch and 3-course dinner served every day - on full day excursions, tasty lunch (or breakfast) is served on site. Had our breakfast with scrambled eggs at 4.355 mtrs of elevation on one of the tours! Staff is very accomodating in every aspect. The excursions (we did 6) were great - going home with a lot of impressions in colorful pastel colors. Excursions are really in small groups (2-6 people) and the guides are locals and knowledgeable. The hotel seems to combine Atacamenian atmosphere (employing locals with many stories about local traditions) with a 5-star experience. Rooms were clean and spacey. Serviced twice a day. 7 small pools to leasure. Did not visit the spa. Did not miss a bigger pool or a gym - it would not fit in the hotel’s atmosphere, carefully trying to blend in with the terracotta salt range mountains that surround the hotel. Absolutely recommended.

This is a really nice hotel. The manager was a super friendly lady that was always hands on, always around, and organized and on top of everything. The rooms were really nice with really nice beds and bathrooms. Their tours were well organized but not always in comfortable vehicles. We organized a few different private tour that were extremely good to go along with the hotel tours. The breakfasts if you didn't go down when people were eating to go on the tours were always cold and cold eggs benedict does not taste good. If you had lunch or dinner on your own it was $40US flat rate EACH for a very light FRENCH portioned plate. Anything that you had that was previously frozen was always RAW in the center. I had a raw in the center piece of Salmon and a raw hamburger and mushy in the center french fries. When they brought Frozen into Argentina and Chile, they forgot to give them a meat thermometer and teach them how to cook frozen deep fried foods.
