“Outstanding first time visit to Kitchener.”
Outstanding first time visit to Kitchener. I admit I didn't know what to expect at the Walper although from a booking perspective the website, the affiliation with Hyatt and the images sold it well. It was pleasantly surprising, a really well done hotel with great amenities on site.

“Great wedding venue!”
Beautiful venue, excellent food and friendly competent staff! There for a wedding - superb service, great assistance from host, very helpful to bride and groom. Dinner at the Social was delicious, perfect ambiance created. Rooms were sleek, clean and comfortable.

“Favorite hotel in Kitchener”
Such a great hotel in the heart of Kitchener. This was our second visit and had a great stay. The staff were great, super nice and helpful and the hotel is well appointed. “Beautifully restored historical hotel”
We were at this property for our sons wedding. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very nice and the staff was amazing. I would definately stay here again.

“Great room, street noise a nuisance.”
We found the room clean and modern. Perfect for a place to sleep. Well lit Parking garage steps away. However, our room faced Queen street and you could hear every vehicle driving by all through the night/early morning. As a light sleeper, this made for a horrible sleep in a great place.
