We had a very nice time and found the staff warm and helpful. Things were a little rocky at first, since they're still doing some remodeling. Our room had some issues that made the first night difficult. After a conversation with the staff the next morning we were moved to another room that was far superior to the original. The staff was helpful and respectful trying to ensure that our stay was special. We have stayed at this facility a number of times and always found the level of consideration and helpfulness beyond expectation.

“Excellent Lodging Experience!”

I was here for four nights — loved the stay — many rooms have been recently renovated it seems, and mine was very clean, modern, and comfortable. NIce lobby, easy walking access to the waterfront and the downtown, and the restaurant/bar in the lobby is very good.

I stayed at the Coast Hotel Victoria in mid-April, and I really wouldn't consider staying elsewhere. The location is fantastic. They are walking distance to most of the sites in town. They also have an in-town shuttle and the most amazing indoor/outdoor pool. The staff from the front desk, to the concierge, to the bartender, wait staff and housekeeping are all professional and friendly. They go out of their way to answer your questions and make a solo traveler feel safe and welcome. The rooms are immaculate and look over the harbor. While they are remodeling, they warn you of it with numerous pre trip emails and honestly, the most I heard from my 9th floor room was tapping like someone was hanging a picture. The only reason I even heard that was because I came by the room to drop a few things off around 2:30 (construction hours were stated as 10-4pm and I usually left the room near 9 am and didn't hear anything). The bar and restaurant also look out on the water and the food is five star. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The seem genuinely happy to help you as does the front desk and concierge. I wish I had written the name of everyone I interacted with down. I know Reid literally caught a mistake that would of had me missing my flight home and Matilda made my first night in town comfortable and fun. Saho at the front desk helped me to get into my room early which was much appreciated after traveling most of the morning.
