“Best hotel “Club” level experience I’ve had”

We stayed overnight in the “Club” level section overlooking the harbour, at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel on October 22/24. Best Club level experience I’ve ever had! All I can say is that it was absolutely fantastic! I’ve stayed in other brand hotel Club levels in Hong Kong, London England, San Fransisco, Washington DC, Montreal and others. All have been great, however this was definitely the best. All of the staff were more accommodating and so gracious than those I’ve encountered at other club level hotel experiences, knowing when to engage, and when to let us be. All other brand hotel club level staff have been very good, but not as good as this. Sarah was there over most of the hours we were, and was whom we engaged with the most. Sarah was especially gracious. When we arrived to celebrate my sister’s 75th birthday, there was a piece of melt in your mouth dark chocolate cake, beautifully decorated. Yupp, the manager of the Club level lounge and rooms, had left a lovely hand written birthday welcome and wish to my sister, which accompanied the cake. The food was excellent. All day fresh scones with butter and jams, smoked salmon, cheeses, meats, crackers, breads, candies, pretzels, chips, beverages, lattes, and more. An honour system for alcoholic beverages. At dinner time from 5-7, service included all that, plus hors d’oeuvres and canapés of beef tenderloin, shrimp, samosas, vegetables and more. Followed by bite sized fabulous desserts from 8-9. Many guests, including ourselves, cancelled dinner reservations outside the hotel. That was an especially unusual part of the experience, as I’ve never enjoyed club level hors d’oeuvres and desserts enough at other brand hotels to cancel dinner reservations, like many of the other guests did as well. The next morning was a full buffet breakfast with eggs Benedict, smoked salmon, bacon, sausages, oatmeal & cereals, yogurt, fruit and more. The location was also excellent in Canada Place on the harbour, near the “Fly Over Canada” experience, the Art Gallery of Vancouver, downtown restaurants, businesses and shopping, the Hullo ferry and Sea Planes to Vancouver Island, and a beautiful Oceanside boardwalk. The room with two very comfortable queen beds overlooking the harbour was tastefully decorated and spacious. Beautiful view! The hotel stores and art gallery near reception are also worth browsing. We purchased some beautiful silk scarves at very good prices. We also enjoyed the outdoor rooftop hot tub and pool overlooking the harbour, even though it was pouring rain. We and other guests enjoyed the hot tub with the umbrellas from the rooms! The only downside was that it poured rain the entire time. The room had a good quality umbrella, however my sister and I were glad we brought waterproof raincoats with hoods (not just water resistant). All in all a fabulous stay!

Sajan, did such a great job fixing up our room. Very kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. Great pillows room had an amazing view. The conference I was attending was absolutely wonderful. The kids camp was great. My daughter had such a wonderful time playing with all the children.

Has a tremendous stay during my time in Vancouver at the Pan Pacific. The service we received was exemplary. The trip overlapped with my wife's bday and the woman servicing our room (Swati) noticed the birthday card and took the time to come back and decorate our room with a surprise. Then she came back 2 days later to actually meet my wife. Swati was extremely kind and sweet. In addition, we were also looked after by Jaxon in the lobby bar a couple of times and she was also outstanding. Very impressed with this hotel and its level of service. Would highly recommend!

I have been doing staycations at the Pan Pacific Vancouver since 2019. And more than ever now with things getting busy and not being able to leave work for extended periods of time, it’s been a great little getaway within the city. At the Pan Pacific I feel at ease and relaxed. The Pacific Lounge provides us with the ultimate care and experience with snacks and food and the best customer service. The staff are friendly and pleasant and make us feel like we are a part of the Pan Pacific brand. They always remember us as and greet us with great warmth. The rooms are very clean and the bed are comfortable and the housecleaning staff are kind as well. Also the amenities such as the hot tub and pool are so convenient. We sometimes even book a visit at Spa Utopia as well. I am so grateful I can plan a quick getaway to rest, relax and enjoy some good treatment and comfort. The staff goes above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Sometimes we book to enjoy milestones such as birthdays and anniversaries and it’s so wonderful that the staff makes these moments so memorable!
