“Great value and location”

Best value hotel downtown. Although a little dated, the rooms are functional and clean. Continental breakfast included with a good variety of food. Great location, walking distance to waterfront and skytrain stations. staff were helpful and friendly.

The location and staff of this hotel are the stars. the hotel is really old and small. But it located in the center of all the action. I saw a protest from my hotel room window, safely. I was down the street from the New Town Bakery. I toolled around on the public transit. Sky Train stations are located within 2 - 3 blocks. The elevator of the hotel "resets" for two minutes. The chocolate croissants are from a bakery for breakfast, and are fabulous.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during my recent trip to Vancouver. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were a few areas that could have been better. The hotel’s location is great—close to nearby attractions, restaurants, or public transport, which made it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth, I didn't wait for my room to be ready. The room itself was ont the smaller side, clean and comfortable, though a bit smaller than I anticipated. It had the basic amenities, such as safe and microwave, mini coffee machine . The bed was comfortable enough, but I found the pillows a bit too soft for my liking. The washroom is one person at a time. One downside was the noise from the street. My room faced the main road, and there was a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep. It might be worth requesting a room on the quieter side of the hotel if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was OK—nothing special, but adequate for a quick bite before heading out. The coffee was decent, and there was a variety of pastries and hot items, sufficient to start the day. Overall, Days inn is a good option if you're looking for something affordable and convenient, but it's not the most luxurious stay. It's fine for a short visit, but I think there’s room for improvement in terms of comfort and amenities. It has potential and need a bit more of TLC -little fixes here and there.
