The unit we had was extremely clean and spacious. However a bit dated. Although it was spacious this 2 bedroom did not make good use of a lot of the open space. One bathroom was off kitchen while all bedrooms and other bath upstairs. For 2 couples or more it would be somewhat awkward having the other bathroom downstairs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The area perfect in peak fall colours. There are many activities to do for families and couples alike that are provided for free. The food in the dinning room is delicious and well presented. A more high end restaurant not really affordable for many families. However there are many towns not far that have lots of restaurants and grocers. There a many buildings in this resort. Some are more updated and have different layouts.

Great location in the woods by a lake about an hour's drive from Montreal. Buildings are old but well maintained. Facilities are well maintained. Great location in the woods by a lake about an hour's drive from Montreal. Buildings are old but well maintained. Facilities are well maintained. Furnitures are old but still in good shape, except for some mattresses that needed to be replaced years ago. Plenty of water activities, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats are available for free. Good organized activities also. Very friendly and helpful bilingual staff. Restaurant, banquet, conference and wedding facilities on site. Good place for work or play in the summer. Mount Tremblant is less than an hour away for skiing in the winter.

A beautiful location with comfortable accommodation and helpful friendly staff, most of whom are bilingual. We had a comfortable studio room with a kitchen, dining table and lounge area. Had no hot water the first morning, but reception had a maintenance man on the job within half an hour, and all was good for the rest of the stay. The bedroom was a mezzanine with a low roof up a narrow spiral staircase so we left our suitcases in the lounge area, which was fine given that the bathroom was downstairs. If you get up in the night, be careful if you’re on the low roof side of the bed! Had an amazing breakfast in the restaurant each day with beautiful views over the lake and a three course dinner on our anniversary. There is a lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy drinks from the bar and you can sit inside the bar when the evening cools. Our main tip is that this is a challenging location without a hire car although we did take a taxi to the local mini supermarket to stock up. The remoteness and lack of transport made this more of an activity holiday than day trips and we kayaked, hiked, played tennis and mini golf, and even took a pedalo out on the lake. In the evenings we played board games and watched DVDs borrowed on site.

It's our first time to stay in this resort. The views are beautiful especially it is Fall season The rich colors of the Fall foliage is mesmerizing. The only downfall is that it is more than an hour drive from Montreal city, and the winding roads into the resort are dark at night. We were not provided with paper towel, scotch Brite and dishwashing soap. When I asked, the receptionist said they will provide. We went out for a day trip and came back, only to find out we need to get from reception. And the receptionist want us to pay for the dishwasher soap. Whaattt? This was insane. I just said, forget it. No change in bedding on mid-week, only towels and collection of recyclables and garbage. The pillows are uncomfortable to sleep in. The washroom is big and clean. The unit is big and more than enough for just me and my spouse. However, there were several bugs inside the unit. The furnitures are old. We did not try any of the activities or amenities so we can't comment on that. Overall, it was a great holiday spent, traveling out to nearby cities and tourist spots. We used the resort as our base.
