This hotel is centrally located right outside the gates into Old Quebec at Place D’Youville with walking distance to many of the major sites and tons of restaurants and shops. Great place to stay for a couple or family. The hotel offers spacious rooms with a great hot breakfast on site and a hotel bar. While there isn’t parking go on site, the parking garage is located just across the street. Spots are tight so be aware for bigger vehicles. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Excellent location! One block from the old city, this location is excellent. Exactly what you would expect from Marriott - nice rooms, wonderful staff, cleanliness. The 2 concierges we spoke with were knowledgeable and considered our specific likes and dislikes. Many of the sights are within walking distance and there are several restaurants nearby. I will say the photo makes the property look very grand - a bit of an exaggeration!

“Great long weekend trip!”

We were very happy with this property. It’s nicely renovated. Modern decor. Beds were good, sheet didn’t fit and kept coming off was my only complaint. Very good clean bathroom with soft towels. Staff was excellent. Location was fantastic as well. Would stay again.

We attended Quebec City to celebrate both of my daughter’s birthdays. We arrived to the front entrance being under construction and was during a heavy rainfall. We attended Quebec City to celebrate both of my daughter’s birthdays. We arrived to the front entrance being under construction and was during a heavy rainfall. We were the only vehicle arriving at this time. Not only was their nobody available to assist us with bringing in the luggage, they had the maintenance guy power washing the front entrance carpet during a rainstorm right in front of the main doors. So while we are trying to bring in our luggage as a family of four during heavy rain, we got soaked by the rain due to having to wait for him to stop pressure washing with every piece of luggage to proceed past him into the hotel. We were tracking all the mud from the carpet on our new luggage and new shoes as well during this process. He could have very easily have done this elsewhere or off to the side as there was plenty of room and this was totally unacceptable. The hotel was extremely understaffed and very difficult to get assistance several times. Valet service was very slow and having to be reminded several times that we are still waiting for our vehicle. We were also charged for Wifi usage even though we are Marriott Bonvoy members and should Not have a wifi charge. They also advertise free Wifi. They did agree to remove the charge after I called to inquire as to why we were charged. We would likely try a different hotel next time we stay in Quebec City.
