Pillar and Post's original structure was built in the late 1890s as a canning factory, and since has been lovingly transformed into a fine Niagara on the Lake hotel. “Great place to relax”
Very pleasant hotel, with indoor and outdoor pools, spa, cute garden benches, and great green space around it. The only point to mention is that some rooms (old building) are very humid, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep and even clothing is damp the next morning.

“Wonderful Stay at Pillar and Post!”
The property is beautiful and there is ample parking. Our room was large and the bed comfortable to sleep in. We took advantage of the amenities such as the Spa and Gym. The Cannery restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. We had a sensational time.

“Faded Glory”
The hotel is showing its age. Difficult to navigate - lots of walking and stairs, difficult with luggage. The rooms need to be refreshed badly. Pleasant staff, but overworked. Good service and excellent prime rib in the Cannery Restaurant.

“Needs a refresh”
We stayed here b/c we wanted to visit the falls without being in the midst of the junky Niagara strip. The town is sweet and Niagara Juice and Bakery was best breakfast sandwich we'd ever had!
