Pillar and Post's original structure was built in the late 1890s as a canning factory, and since has been lovingly transformed into a fine Niagara on the Lake hotel. You can still see its original purpose in the clean lines of the brick walls and in the impressive post-and-beam construction. Cannery?s old-country charm is enhanced by exposed wooden beams, cozy fireside dining and an open-hearth oven. Cannery Restaurant has a relaxed, informal atmosphere in which to showcase Chef Therese DeGrace's menu of 'comfort food with a twist'. Chef DeGrace embodies the next generation of cuisine and has been featured on Breakfast Television, Canada AM and is on the panel of guest chefs on President's Choice Blue Menu.

“Amazing!”
Right from check in until we left all the hotel staff made us feel welcome. The holiday decoration inside and out were gorgeous and really put us in the holiday spirit. “Piller and Post (Hailey Rocks!)”
This hotel was timely and timeless. Food and service was the best ive experienced in a tucked away area of the world. I had a waitress named Hailey who made my whole group feel welcome and at home. Highly recommened this beautiful quaint old timey place to stay.

“Perfect stay!”
The atmosphere and warm welcome was outstanding. The room was pristine. We are at The Cannery Restaurant and the food was to die for. Everything was exactly as we had hoped for. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Hoping to use the spa next visit.
