Pillar and Post's original structure was built in the late 1890s as a canning factory, and since has been lovingly transformed into a fine Niagara on the Lake hotel. You can still see its original purpose in the clean lines of the brick walls and in the impressive post-and-beam construction. Cannery?s old-country charm is enhanced by exposed wooden beams, cozy fireside dining and an open-hearth oven. “Wonderful weekend”
We had a great experience. The outdoor pool was warm, the hot spring was nice, the staff at the hotel from the front desk to housekeeping were wonderful. We did a spa day.
