“No better location for OLD MONTREAL.”
Having never been to Montreal, we looked at the map and picked this hotel.... It is right in the middle of Old Montreal-EAST without the noise and traffic. It is located on an old village street as wide as an alley, so hardly any traffic at all. BEST- it is located 1/2 block from the main center… more
Having never been to Montreal, we looked at the map and picked this hotel.... It is right in the middle of Old Montreal-EAST without the noise and traffic. It is located on an old village street as wide as an alley, so hardly any traffic at all. BEST- it is located 1/2 block from the main center of Old Montreal which means many restaurants and shops about a 5 minute walk away in "Old Montreal - EAST". We walked a couple blocks to join our Old Montreal-WEST tour group. BTW, I highly recommend a walking tour. We did get a ticket for the hop-on,hop-off tour bus, but they had overbooked and we had to wait for "the next bus" several times. I would not do that again. The hotel has a great breakfast which saves $$. Lots to see, Have a great time.

“Very convenient stay at this hotel”
We stayed there for 3 nights in room 202. The hotel is conveniently located to many tourist attractions, shops, cafes, restaurants and landmarks which are all walkable. We stayed there for 3 nights in room 202. The hotel is conveniently located to many tourist attractions, shops, cafes, restaurants and landmarks which are all walkable. Room we had was pretty and spacious. We had what we needed. It also included free breakfast with pretty good choices. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall stay experience was delightful and we will definitely book this hotel for our next trip in Montreal

“Great Location -Needs Updating”
The hotel is located in Old Montreal in a great location. It’s an easy walk to Notre-Dame and the waterfront. Numerous cafes and restaurants line the small street some of which are pedestrian only. The hotel is located in Old Montreal in a great location. It’s an easy walk to Notre-Dame and the waterfront. Numerous cafes and restaurants line the small street some of which are pedestrian only. The Hop-on- Hop Off stop is about a 6 minute walk. I highly recommend the location , however, the hotel is greatly in need of upgrading. The wallpaper is peeling and there are bubbles in the wall paint. Our bathroom light did not work but they did repair it. The lighting is extremely poor with one bedside lamp in the sleeping area. I couldn’t even see what clothes I had put in the closet. One bed had the bed-frame sticking out about 3 inches and I banged my leg twice. When I asked to have it fixed they said no because they were starting remodeling the first floor very soon. The breakfast was the usual free breakfast fare. The elevators are extremely slow. If they don’t take short cuts, maybe it will be better after the remodel. Again, the location is fantastic.
